This is one of my fav scarf print this season. I saw the pink and absolute love it. Then saw the turquoise one and can't live without that. If they come out with shawl version, I will be so broke.

I tried the turquoise twice last week - not sure I can resist. I also loved the black. And I soooooo agree, Yodaling, if there was a GM of this, I would be in very serious trouble! :graucho:

Here is Alphabet 3, in a 90cm silk twill.

It's my one and only (but hopefully not last) scarf designed by Annie Faivre. The SS 1990 scarf booklet describes the letters 'Y', 'J', 'A', and 'S' surrounding 'Hermes' as having a special meaning, as they are the initials of members of the Hermes family. While it was first offered in the spring of 1990, mine is a finesse from 1999 in a creamy white, with light grey.

I love this whimsical design, especially in this very quiet palette. The numerous animals are all hard at work, :doggie: depicting various letters.

Looks beautiful with your grey sweater and Farandole!! I never knew that story about the other letters, either...

Thank you, Luvbolide, so nice of you! I always wondered, and also thought it fun to learn a bit more, about the letters! Would love to know the meaning of the remaining letters surrounding 'Hermes'...more mysteries of Hermes to be pondered! :D

Edit: Looking again perhaps the remaining are not in fact letters...a bit hard to tell with some!
