My petrol satchel also looks good after a full season of use last winter. I got a ton of compliments on it, and I'd say my only complaint is that it's rather heavy.

I'm thinking of bringing it back out in a few weeks, but Henri Bendel currently has a black tote with an adorable studded stars design that I've been eyeing...

My goodies arrived today! I will post pics later of the new gotham petrol satchel when I have time. It's very sparkly but doesn't shift colors at all, looks more like an ocelot pattern of dark grey and black. Hardware is gorgeous, dark silver/gunmetal. I bought the black bug/fur ball charm that is gorgeous but need to figure out how to possibly attach it to the bag. I also bought the star embroidered jetsetter backpack. I love it, has beautiful purple lining and I plan to use it as a diaper bag for quick trips.

Close up of bag, fly buggy fob, and petrol phone wallet from 2 years ago. The colors aren't coming out very well. Might try to take pics again on the next sunny day.

I'm 95% sure I'm keeping it. It's nothing like the petrol of the last 2 years but it's still beautiful. I always prefer silver or gunmetal hardware over gold too which is another bonus. I also LOVE all of the pockets in this bag! I really wish though that I would have also kept the one from last year like yours.

The original price was $150. I was able to use the discount when I ordered it last month. This collection is suppose to be a December release so don't know if there will be a sale event for the holidays (or a Black Friday even?) I hoping as I would like to buy some more pieces from this collection, loving the hologram!
