Nylon Muse - you like ?

I was browsing on Saks site and came accross the YSL Nylon Muse, available in pre-order, for 1 195$.

Surprisingly, I think I like it very much but do think its too much for a non-leather bag.

Do you agree ?!

Kind of reminds me of how Prada blends nylon with leather... pretty, and great for days you don't want to worry about caring for the leather (rainy seasons, snow, etc.)

Have yet to see it in person but loving it based on the pics. I don't think the price is so bad either.

I saw it somewhere, don't remember where, but I think may have been Saks or another big dept store, and was not impressed. I think the nice thing about the Muse is the different leathers' texture, otherwise, with the nylon it looked too uniform/plain.
Price tag too, ridiculous for nylon. I am sure it will go on sale, and then at 40 or 50% off, would be worth it, if you like the nylon look.

Exactly, a bag you are not afraid of using even if its rainy or snowy.

The only thing (beside the price tag) that keeps me from getting it, is that the Muse is a structured bag and im afraid that the nylon will make it looks slouchy.

not a fan of nylon/fabric bags....im converting to buying all leather bags from now on. not to mention that $1200 for a simple fabric bag is CRAZY.....why not just get the leather version?

I agree with the other posters -- for that price point, it makes more sense getting the leather version. I like the idea, especially since we've had so much rain the last few days here.

I love it --though I bought my Muse in berry second hand for like 600 for an all leather beauty----this is hot!!!! Prada nylon prices are high too.

Love the bag, esp. since it's probably much more lightweight than it's leather versions.
