Reading other posts about how the leather ages well with Chloe, it's made me curious to know how the patent leather stands up over time. Frankly I think it's like iron but I could be way off the mark. Does it crack and allegator? Dull up? Anything? Remain the same? Do I have to do something special to preserve the quality?

Remember I have a new baby so I'm asking lots of simple questions.

hmmm...that's a good question! mine's pretty new too so i'm not sure...i do have a lanvin patent bag that i haven't treated at all and it still looks the same so let's keep our fingers crossed!
