Only hot pink onesDo they have the Jumping boots at the sale?!?!?
I got a pair in Mocha last fall and I really want the black as well. A friend said she would go for me, but I don't want to ask her to stand in line for nothing. Jumping boots would def. be worth it!
Only hot pink ones
Ladies you can all forget about the sale. There were picked over gloves, shoes, hot pink jumping boots and ready to wear. I'm so disappointed. I paid someone to stand in line for me for nothin. There wasn't even an old scarf or a bottle of perfume. Or even a plate!!!!!!!
I went today with my invitation. No line--easy in and out. Only shoes, clothes and some hats and gloves. For those of you who went last year, it sounds like much of the same. It was a total waste of time. There were a few decent shoes but it depends on your size... most notably, NO SCARVES, handbags, belts or jewelry, all of the things I usually purchase at the store. So for me, it was a total waste of time.
While I totally agree that as Hermes sales go, this one sucked scissors, I will say (just to be annoyingly positive) that the Soiffer Haskins staff was extremely nice, and I did find a cool, ridiculously luxurious cashmere/leather sweater for my DH, and a sort of moto-inspired black deerskin jacket and a pair of camel, low-heeled boots for me (that, remarkably, fit my chunky--er, athletic--calves). None of which I would ever have even considered purchasing at full retail, so I left content. But it was a total bust for leather goods (not only no bags, but no SLGs, no belts, almost no gloves, jeepers) and a complete disaster for scarfies. I am sorry, scarfies, because you are an awesome bunch, and Hermes owes you a spectacular sale. Seriously.
