NY Spring 2010 Sale?

In my limited experience, GM shawls are gone before the doors open to the public. I know there have been shawls at sales (such as the one in Paris) in the past, but those are really hot items. I was actually one person short of being in the first group to enter the last NY sale on the first day it opened to the public and I didn't see any shawls.
As others have mentioned, you can bring your phone. I use Verizon and evidently I had adequate service because I was able to receive messages and place two calls.
Selection is anyone's guess. At the September sale there were many, many different styles of shoes.

Hermesmonkey, May I ask one question? How could I get the invitation? What is the qualification? I love to know. Could you tell me? As I told in other thread, I am flying to Japan for vacation from 24th so I only have a chance of 23rd but I do not have a invitation....but I've been waiting this sale so long time....T.T

Can anyone tell me what methods of payment are accepted at the sale? Do they take AmEx, checks, what?
The sale will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion, which is located at 125 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011.
I'm planning on being there on Wednesday. What time is reasonable to get in line? I don't mind waiting, even an hour, whatever it takes. I'm only in NYC that day, need to leave as soon as I'm done.
