The small Dogon was 770 and I forgot how much the large was, but it was high enough that I decided to pass...

Interesting -- in looking at my pocket squares, they are each marked different prices. One is marked 78. the other is marked 120. But I think I would have noticed if they were priced differently on the receipt. I will check that.

I was disappointed that the RTW was still Winter 08, just like last sale. I would have thought it would be spring/summer 09.

I definitely bought less than my usual sale adventures, but I am very happy with what I did find!

We went in totally on a bag ban. My goal was silk, enamel and cashmere. No cashmere was to be found this morning; no exciting silks, but lots of other things. I left DH to peruse to his heart's content and then, there they were, the Constances. I asked about Bolides, but they kept saying no, no Bolides. I kept seeing occasional people with them, and asked the sales people about them. No, they insisted, no. I was so determined, but with the potiron Constance that I found, I was beyond thrilled. It was perfect, a usable size and perfect color. I asked DH to put away the silks (except for one black Bolduc,) and his few items and we went to stand on line. Then I saw it. There was a guy running merchandise back to the selling floor and there was a 37 black Bolide dangling from his finger. I ducked under the crowd control rope and actually ran to catch it. I asked if it was a Bolide and he had no idea because he had so much stuff. I guess people were making last minute decisions at the register, thus the 90 minute lines to pay. I had to hand the bag over to the sales person behind the bag display. She knew I had been looking and asking like crazy and demanded to know how I got the bag. I told her. I felt great. Like I won a prize.
It was a great day, a rush, a crazy rush of a day, but I wound up getting two beautiful bags for less $$ than two Chanels that I have on order (just cancelled.)
The Constance was the first H bag that I coveted. I never would get it because it was so tiny and expensive; this bag is actually practical and beautiful.

yes lots of them in brown - bottom shelf of the square shelf rack to the right of the leather bags. Also toile brn leather pm gps

Congrats on your two bags!! I"m your shopping twin! Must have eagle eyes standing in line....it's where it all happens!! :graucho:
