NY Spring 2010 Sale?

I think 880 has a much better memory than I do, and I can't add much to her excellent report. I got there about
1:00 and they had already let people in, even though the invitation clearly said 2:00. When I got there, there were only
a handful of GM's - I only saw Bolduc and Belles du Mexique (which I passed on because it had too much orange for me).
The twillys, pochettes and such were all jumbled up together and it was difficult to find things. Only with the 90's was
there any real effort to keep them neat and arranged by color. The limit is 10 scarves, not five as may have been the
case at other sale locations. (And I just realized I only got nine!)
I saw lots of Plumes, a few Constances and the usual assortment of SLG's, enamel bangles, etc.
The line to pay WAS horrendous - they had five registers, but I think they were having problems with some of them for
a while. But I - and my feet - survived, and yes, it was worth it!

Susan, I didn't see a single trim, and I thought there would be. Maybe
they'll bring some in tomorrow - you never know...

thank you!!! maybe next time, i am recovering from being sick, and after round trip train, bus and cab fair (i live in jersey) that is basically the same as the regular price, but its good to know the price so that next time i have enough set aside for 3 or 4 pocket squares at that price.
The constances were 60% off so about 3200-3300ish for the larger ones and about 2700-2800 for the 18cms. There was only one cafe box one in the 23cm left around 4pm. There were many more 18cms in fantastic colors like turquise and violet and fuschis chevre, white Epsom w ph and one gold w gh. Many of these were being held or tried on by people when I left. Hopefully they will have more later this week.
There were many v bags left. Those are the ones that are a cross between the Victoria and plume but shorter vertically. I'm horrible at describing things!
Four Tails, the only TB I saw was one that a woman had already bought. They must
have been grabbed up quickly!
I have no idea. There were not many bearns at all. I only saw 2 bb w/ GH in the true square sized, not the long wallet sized. They were probably north of 1k for sure. As for the dogons, I only saw a few dogon wallets in the really big size. Maybe they were all gone by the time I got over to the "wallet" section. I have to be honest, there were not many wallets at all. Lots of agendas and zippy things. I thought they were still pretty pricey.
And my two TOTAL SCORES of the year so far!! I am BEYOND thrilled.
