True beauty ! Grenat is amazing color.The last bag for this year came in toDay!
And yay, it is Grenat and not my third Bordeaux.
The difference in color is so subtle that I wouldn't be able to tell which is which, if I didn't have both now. The tassels were cut short *grrrr*, but I had a spare one from my Bordeaux. Fits.
The only detail that really differs is the zipper tape and color of stitching.
I'm not the biggest fan of 06 leather, but this one is super gorgeous. Thick, chewy and still very saturated.

This Bal year was a blast. So many of my dreams were made possible with the help of my lovely, but sadly far away friends. Thank you! Love you!

finally learned this year myself the difference between the two having and returning that humongous grenat courier so I realized that my twiggy IS a Bordeaux and work is grenat, so now I have reference points, and my new to me day is a Bordeaux. All have amazing leather, soft and silky, my twiggy even puffy silky ….so happy with them.

Yep. A lot of the leather that first season was a shocking departure from all the yumminess that preceded it. Even S/S 07 had some pretty bad leathers before the legendary F/W 07 made us all swoon. Some of the worst leather of S/S 07 was on Vert Gazon and French Blue, gorgeous colors on sandpaper leather.Thank you!
D'oh, you're so right and I'm so dumb, lol. Of the colors you listed I had four and now only have two. All four were/are amazing.
When thinking of 06 Bals I remember a CF Purse I had. Color was nice enough, but the leather a nightmare. So thin, dry and papery. Did not like it one bit...
Don’t really know, but I suspect the unreliability of the later chevre leather had much to do with the switch to agneau.

@muchstuff as promises, daylight photos. Doesn’t look as dark as it did in my office on that dreary day, but I still see more black as the secondary color than brown. I won't lie, I like the black green even more than the brown green.
I assumed they just went for a cheaper and more plentiful leather to fuel their bigger output after their increasing success. They saved the premium Chevre for the special Hamiltons, Metallic Edge and Vibratos. Oh how beautiful colour, black background makes it really very interesting and sophisticated
True, I overdid it with the reds, unfair to so many gorgeous shades of other colors…still if anyone sees a Bordeaux weekender let me know LOLThat is the best colour I’ve ever seen. Everyone can keep their reds! A reminder…
She's been on layaway for three months but just arrived so we'll call her 2024...
Also I did break the ban but who wouldn't? An almost new, with tags, 05 dolma Day. 
I like it so much !!! My style 💯….congratulations on this beauty. I always carry my large pouch so that it sticks out of the city
