I think you should return, ring around the other outlets and explain y0ur lng wait and desire for it to be in good condition and ask if they have any in better condition. Don't settle for second best, you have waited a long time for this bag.

I rang around today and York had a pebble Mabel and I think it was either Cheshire Oaks or Bicester that had another Rose.
Could you return the bag to one of these for an immediate exchange?

Sorry the mable wasn't in the condition you had wished, it is so important that full information on condition is given by SAs when a transaction is conducted over the phone. I guess we will have to be more specific in our questions when enquiring about bags in future if information is less forthcoming now. I hope you find a nice example soon, I am sure I saw one at Bicester last Friday. It noted how pretty it was but didn't examine it.
