Not for the faint of heart (A last ditch effort to rehab)

@prism here you go, it's a store in NY, not sure where you are. The product is waxed cord, here's the thread from @kerryisntreal showing her expertise with rehabbing!

Aha, this reminds me! I need to order some more black cording!

@prism not sure what color your bag is but the colors are sometimes hard to distinguish on the site so it might be worth it to order a couple different ones to do an IRL comparison.

thanks guys but I was actually hoping to use leather cords, since the OP used that :flowers:

but thanks to @kerryisntreal I know I need to look for 3mm. since my Twiggy is a dark brown shade with olive undertones, I'll most likely go for brown.

Hey prism, I got them at a local fabric store (Fabricland) but you can find them for sale online as well. I really am glad I made this choice. It holds up really well and I prefer the look.

looks great but this isn't a project for just anyone IMO. Takes skill and patience. of course your threat title basically says this

It does take patience and some nerve, for sure. I filmed the removal of the one very carefully so I would know how to put it back exactly right. And I also wasted a lot of cording to make sure I didn’t get to the end and be short!

Not something I would be doing to a bag that didn’t already look like it has been run over by a truck.
