Nordstrom Returns Delayed Recently?

Is that allowed? I thought if you combine returns like that their system might not refund both orders?
They refunded them properly. I have only done it once. From what I could understand based on the e-mail return receipts I received, the USPS labels that are pre-printed WITH an Order Number have been tied to that specific Order in the system. So when the items on an order are scanned back into inventory, they are also scanning the USPS label they are returned with to verify the item's receipt. I suspect that is why they discourage it. I am not encouraging it, but it worked for me.

Just an update on my delayed return. It was the only item on my account and my bill was almost due. I called and they admitted they had it, and claimed it would be credited "any day." Well, the day the bill was due, it still showed. I called and told them I was not paying for an item they had in their possession and wanted it noted so I didn't get a late fee. The woman told me that if I "chose not to make a payment," she could not guarantee I wouldn't get a late charge! I told her I chose not to make a payment because I didn't owe anything because they had the return. Amazingly, the credit appeared before the end of the day. Almost two months after they got it. Not buying online until I feel safe enough to go to the store and make the return in person to get my credit immediately. Not worth the headache of multiple phone calls after multiple tracking efforts.

My return was definitely delayed. I gave our postman a return package on June 24th and I just got the refund last week. I was convinced the package was lost in the mail because the tracking never updated after I gave it to him, it was stuck on “received by agent.”

I just sent in a return through the usps since the 29th of September. It's been saying accepted every since. No movement.

I have been buying several items at a time, trying them on so that I can keep what I like and return what I don’t. Is this going to get me banned from shopping online with them? I’m trying to be as Covid safe as possible.

There is a thread that discusses this. In general getting banned from shopping online seems to happen if you return a far greater amount of merchandise than you keep. You can the thread find here.
