Okay. So I feel like we have this discussion every year because of their wonky size guide. How do Reiss coats fit? I can usually wear an XS or S coat depending on sleeve length and shoulders. I’m taller with long arms so sleeves are usually the main problem with coats in smaller sizes. I can’t decide if I need a 2 or 4. I’ve tried a double breasted Reiss coat, but never a single breasted. These coats are lined as well. Was this the brand that was putting out the unlined coats in sales past that everyone disliked?

I am an Icon and I don’t mind at all. I have pre-looked in past years the day before just to see if I can narrow my wish list down. I certainly don’t mind if someone else wants to do the same. This year I decided since I am ordering everything i may want at midnight, I decided to be surprised tomorrow morning at 8am instead. Watched a great you tube from a Nordie stylist named Kayla Jane and she showed quite a few of the pieces I have on my list and they are looking pretty much the way i expected. It’s going to be soooo hard to narrow my purchases down but I will manage. Can’t keep it all.
I just looked at my Icon early access appointment for tomorrow. My store location has the hours from 9-11 am, even though the store opens at 10 am. Previous years was 8-10 am. I like when I get the whole store to just Icons because the salespeople are a lot nicer. Previous years when I was still shopping after the store opened, the salespeople gave me a lot of attitude because they didn’t think I looked like an Icon - they would tell me those items I’m holding or shopping are not for me. Then I would have to prove that I’m an Icon and show them my card. It was super frustrating and sometimes upsetting.
It was me! I won the giant tub of Le Mer! It makes me break out, so I gave it to my mom. I think I won something else that year, too, but I don’t remember what it was.
Did you win the La Mer from a scratch off card?
In my experience, Reiss runs small. Especially in the shoulders and bust for me. I’m normally a 6-8, and would need a 10-12 in Reiss. I’ve never bought a coat or a jacket from them because once it fits in the shoulders I’m swimming in it everywhere else.
I do believe their coats were unlined in years past.

It’s interesting when you plug your ‘available in store’ to the anniversary sale items. My Tysons store definitely has more designers than my Montgomery Mall store has, so happy I am going there first.

My store in VA has the appt for 8-10am tomorrow. The invitation confirmation states those hours as well. I guess some stores have different hours.
So, Ive been browsing soooo many other sales. Ive realized the giant wishlist I put together for Nordstrom is 90% stuff I like, but not love. Many other stores have better deals for items which I actually prefer. I hope I dont fall into the trap of mass purchasing from Nordies even after saying this lol but truthfully I think Ill only end up buying the following:
* two new white hydrocotton towels
* 4 pack of mens white nordstrom t shirts
* mansur gavriel plum flats
* bernardo brown leather/suede jacket OR all saints burgundy leather jacket
I did also just buy a black leather jacket by Mango which was on sale for $300, the design was what I was actually after so I got that instead of forcing myself to like the black anniversary sale leather jackets.
