Thank you Susies7!!!! Once again, my catalog will come days after tomorrow. I am loving half the things on the Berry Bossy page. Those 2 leather jackets, Allsaints(I always buy an Allsaints jacket every year) and Reiss. Those adorable VB shoes and Vince Camuto boots, that pretty Theory dress and lastly that gorgeous L’agence blazer. I hope the color is nice in real life. I have a cobalt blue L’agence blazer and it is heavily worn.
One of my SA’s said that there is lots of blues, plums, dark reds and browns this year.
Like those red converse’s too. I guess I am in full on plum, dark reds mode this year.
For a more affordable bag i like the color of the suede JW Pei tote. Hope its the same color in person

Im in this mode too! It helps that I look very good in plums/berries, I think it's my most flattering color, it makes my skin look vibrant rather than sad and sallow lol. I agree that berry bossy page is lovely.

Yeah! We are twinning with the plums/berries! They look good on me too! I can’t wait to lounge on the couch tomorrow and put things on the wish list. We are having all new windows put in, so I am stuck home all day anyway and can think of nothing better than looking at the preview til my eyes glaze over.

LOL at the smurf sweater. I love that shade of blue but now that you've called it the smurf sweater I can't unsee it
I looks like the sweater Anry wears in TDWP
"You go to your closet and you select that lumpy blue sweater, for instance, because you're trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back."

Am I the only one who's really indifferent to this sale?
I've been a Nordstroms debit card holder for years.
I just got my "invite" in the mail -- one whole day
Thats the advance access I get because I don't have (nor do I want) a Nordstrom credit card

Seeing as they always sell out long before the sale starts, what exactly is the point of granting 24 hour advance access?
(not to mention, but the quality of most of the items has seriously gone downhill)

Sure, I'll probably check it out once it starts, but as someone who used to get so excited about this annual event, I've almost forgotten about it the last few years

The (very small) company I work for now has products available at Nordstrom! I was really hoping we'd have a handbag or something included in the NAS so I could march onto my favorite thread feeling cool around all of you, but maybe next year?

If anyone is ever searching for Merino wool coasters, Nordies has you covered! Love this little bag for errands, but please note that I'm biased because duh, but I honestly enjoy using our stuff—which btw is handmade in Los Angeles.
Ooh I am adding a bunch of things to my wish list :) Beautiful pieces!

Lol ok no one laugh at what I did but.... I bought this rag and bone black & white stripe long sleeve polo durin the anni sale, then returned it because I thought it was too much for what it was. Then it went to 70% off later in the year and I snagged it in my size, only to return it AGAIN a week later. I felt pretty stupid- I asked myself why I bought a primarily polyester top when I know damn well I do not mesh well with artificial fabrics.
I tried that same shirt on, DIDN'T buy it, regretted it, finally found it during a pop-back and purchased, then got upset because it later went on super sale

I once got a Zella jacket but never wore it. I forgot all about it, and when the next sale came around, I was in my closet and found the tags still attached. I sent it off to Thred Up. I have a leather bomber which I got three sales ago, I don't think I have ever worn it. I'm living in Chicago now and feel like there will be many more opportunities to wear it, versus where I was before in CA before
You definitely will have more chances to wear it! (I live in Chicago too!) I have an oversized leather jacket that I bought from Nordstrom probably 15 years ago and it's my most-worn piece of outerwear after my winter parka.

Okay here are my picks for BEST purchases at NAS over the years...
- Timberland Bramhall boots... I just looked these up so I could put the correct style name in, these were a 2015 purchase that still holds up! I have 2 pairs in different colors lol
- Longchamp expandable tote bag... simply a classic
- NeuBrow brow serum... saved me from the Drew Barrymore/Gwen Stefani 90s plucking mistakes that haunted me for decades
- Cole Haan simple black penny loafers (but also, the brand in general)... comfort-wise, I think they are worth the price
- L'Agence trousers (and I will also lump "colorful suit sets" into this category)... they're so flattering and I get tons of compliments when I wear them
- True & Co bras... obv everyone has different preferences for bras, but I think these are really great!

Regrets...
- Dansko clogs... I recently took these out of my closet and am attempting to wear them.
- Leggings... honestly ladies, can you read this and tell me you NEED another pair of black leggings? Give me a break
- Ugg ankle boots... they are very cute, but they're just the wrong height. If it's cold enough that i want fleece on my toes, I probably also want my ankles to be warm and not exposed to the frigid air. If I lived in Australia where I could wear Uggs "correctly" maybe I'd have a different opinion here LOL

For me, I get excited mostly due to this thread! It's nice having this yearly event to look forward to - chatting about purchases, seeing peoples photos, reading peoples reviews, and overall just having a nice community to gather with about a common interest for about a month.

I can agree that items arent always that great of quality- But then there is some stuff which can be great, just depends what you are after. I dont have anyone in person to talk to about this stuff so I like that there's a group online that can partake with me :) Even if I have never met any of you!

Ooh thanks for sharing! The monstera leaf coasters are adorable and would make a wonderful gift!

Agreed! A lot of the fun is discovering a sleeper hit from this thread and reading about everyone's hit or misses from the sale.

Then there's the online stalking of specific sizes that is a whole OTHER thing. Love when folks are able to score the thing you really wanted!

This thread is always a welcome distraction from everything. Thank yoooooou!

Totally agree with both of you!
