I got it wrong about the notes. If you have points (see image) you can exchange them for a note. But if you have returns, those points will go away and you can't exchange them for a note. But like someone said if a note has already been issued it won't go away because of a return. Sorry about that!4E57AB29-543E-4532-8F4A-6F176BC9BC90.jpeg

I went in store today to return a pair of pants I recently got (not anniversary sale related), and decided to look around some more and try on some pants I was interested in.

I tried the Nordstrom Straight Leg Pants in grey as I bought the jacket which I love and figured maybe the matching pants would be good to get too, however they fit so wonky... But I found Nordstrom pants in last years anniversary sale also fit me wonky. I am between a size 6-8 depending on brand, closer to 8 for pants, and I tried an 8 and a 10 because they looked small on the hanger. The 10 "fit". I put fit in quotations because I COULD zip and hook them up, however the rise did not suit my body type. I was getting major front and back wedgie and I know if I sized up to a 12, it would look sloppy all over. I think it's just because I have a long torso and wider hips which doesnt fare well for some pants.

I also tried the Halogen High Waist Trousers in grey and they fit in the size 8, but still had a bit of uncomfortable pulling due to the rise. Oh and they were too short for me (I have a 33 inch inseam!).

Finally, I decided to try on this Vince Camuto top (at least I THINK it was Vince Camuto??? Even though there was a full size run online earlier, now I cant find the shirt anywhere!). It was a shimmery, long sleeve, v-neck top which was ombre from a white/cream up top down to a grey at the bottom. Anyways, online said to size down- DO NOT SIZE DOWN! It fit tight in the arms and a bit weird in the body. Medium fit me well, however the material was itchy and kind of cheap.

I ended up buying the 3-pack of the cashmere mist deodorant... I hope it will work, I swear I have some out of control armpits that can't be tamed by anything and it's terrible lol...
Have you heard of the benzoyl peroxide trick? Wash your armpits with acne face wash (I use Cerave 4%) and odors just disappear! Even with no deodorant after a workout the next day after showering. It’s COMPLETELY INSANE.

Bacteria buildup causes odor (not sweat), and the acne wash kills the bacteria.

It has potential to bleach, so don’t use a nice washcloth, and I rinse really well and then follow with normal soap for a second wash/rinse. I’ve never bleached a towel or clothing.

I do that right now actually! I have Panoxyl that I use only on my armpits- It definitely helps a lot. I have been testing so many different methods. I used aluminum free deodorants for a few years and would reapply several times a day but I found that it wasnt working great and was a hassle needing to bring deodorant everywhere. I started using aluminum again and its definitely been better- Its a lot of trial and error. The best combo is the panoxyl during an evening shower, followed by an anti-perspirant before bed. Im generally fine most of the next day and dont need to apply anything new, but its weird and some days during the month are worse. Plus I dont take evening baths super often since my hair is fine and gets oily fast, I am more of a morning person, but of course anti-perspirant in the morning doesn't seem to "set" the same way as it does overnight! I wish I could just do the panoxyl but even then, I would stink after a few hours lol I think its just my lucky genetics!

On another note related to the anniversary sale, I have seen several pop-backs in my wish list but haven't been notified for any of them!! I have just been lucky to check and see some items come back (none that I "need" so I havent bought yet). I guess Im just gonna have to check manually, and I do have app notifications and email notifications turned on.

Those of you with knowledge on Mephisto shoes - On Nordstroms site they are listed in whole US sizes, however it seems like the brand is similar to Birkenstock in that their sizes are euro 38/39/40/etc. Based on reviews I think I would need a size 41, is the US size 11 what Nordstrom is considering as a 41 for this brand? Thanks!
Not sure if this helps, but I wear a US 6 and a 37 in their sandals.

For some reason my sneakers have a spot marked for EU sizing but only the U.S. sizing is marked, so that isn't helpful at all!

Forgot to ask in a previous post: we have similar hair type (although you have more of it and it's slightly longer). Did you say you have the Dyson Air Wrap and you like it? Always figured it wouldn't do much for thin/fine hair that goes flat quickly.

I do like it, yes! Ill be honest though I havent used the actual "wrap" attachments in a long time lol but when I did, my hair still fell flat pretty quick but also did hold the wave for a decently long time, even if it was no longer voluminous. The style would last longer if I added some hairspray. Now most of the time when I use it, I just dry with the dryer attachment until Im about 80% dry, then I finish with the round brush attachment to add some flicks to the ends of my hair.

I’ve never heard of that but I might try it out. For the longest time I was using a young living tooth paste and it was the best thing that worked because none of the antiperspirants did anything for me. Then after using it 7+ years I started to develop a sensitivity to baking soda. Cue the long stream of unsuccessful attempts to replace it. Any natural deodorant without baking soda didn’t work and the ones with worked great but gave me a rash. I’ve been using a mix of lume at night after my shower then curie spray in the morning and if I need a refresh. It’s finally starting to really heat up here now and I’m worried it’s not going to be enough.

Oh, this is great to know. This is exactly how I plan to use it. Maybe occasional bigger curls for fun. I will try to use it later today and show you all.

When doing curls, mine falls fairly quickly. If I use a texture spray first, it’s better. My hair doesn’t hold curl well at all & never has though. If I want it to hold, I do the heatless overnight thing with my robe belt.
