That is horrible workmanship there. And I thought Madden was a reputable brand. Sorry they didn't work out and BTW I saw the kitty in the original post and yes he/she is beautiful.

They're hardly a "reputable" brand. Steve Madden went to prison for securities fraud. I think they're getting sued by major brands for flat out knockoffs, too.

They're more fast fashion, even 20 years ago they were more BP/ low price trendy shoes. Not quality at all.

Not judging anyones purchases at ALL. They do have cute styles, they just might not last as long as a pair of quality shoes.

Thanks - me too - I guess I was surprised almost half of my order showed sold out when I didn't think I got anything popular. I would pick up too if it were more convenient.

I used to looooove shopping the sale but find myself underwhelmed the past few years. In recent years, I’ve changed my mindset and use this sale to restock on basics. I ended up with the following today:

My annual restock of True & Co bralettes, hanky panky thongs, and Nordstrom moonlight shorts PJs

Chantelle soft stretch bikinis

Proof period panties: I ordered a few variations. My girlfriend recommended them for postpartum after my first was born, but I never got around to ordering them til this pregnancy.

Rains string jacket: this is my first ever rain jacket! I live in California and never thought I needed a rain jacket, but I have regretted it every winter for the past few years.

Looking for any thoughts on Proof period panties and the Rains jacket!

I love Proof panties! They are my favorites. I especially love the super light ones because they are basically no show.

They supposedly test every pair for PFAS before they sell them. I stocked up on the teen ones for my daughter.

They ship directly from the manufacturer from Las Vegas. Mine have already shipped. They are the only things from my 11pm orders that have shipped. Everything else is still “preparing”, and several are already sold out.

I was surprised that I only got one cancellation because most of what I got sold out so quickly after I ordered. It seems like items sold out much faster this year and I also don't feel like I was ordering particularly popular items.

I’m sensing this could be a really off year for me. In past years I’ve put all my order in one basket & expedited it. As an Ambassador this year we know that didn’t happen, thank you Beryl. So much of my now sold out stuff has not shipped, I was the one with 73 in my order, a big mistake, huge 😂. Life is never dull & I'm not saying I really didn’t want the items, but I have learned in recent years, they are only things 🫣

The Proof panties are great! It's nice to wear them when you don't want any "surprises" while out. I wash on delicate and hang to dry and they hold up just fine.

Went to the Nordstrom closest to my home yesterday. It is a smaller Nordstrom. Didn’t have much in jewelry or in a couple of other categories I was interested in checking out. SA suggested I purchase online. The store was not busy at all. I really miss the vibe from the Nordstrom sales of years past where it was lively and crowded.🙁

A few items from my order 1am PT Wednesday have shipped. The bulk of it has not (11 items). And I noticed many of those items are now sold out.

Hoping I'll get the items still pending. Fairly annoyed that it is taking so long. Their system should be better than to allow long pending orders to be hit with item cancellations. If the item was available at the time of order, it should be fulfilled.

Not that I need any of the items I ordered, but it is mildly irritating to go through this every year with them.

Do you know if Dolce brand is the same? I’m not familiar with them. I need to return them if they are similar to Sam Edelman

I try to buy from ethically responsible brands. Frank & Eileen, Mother, Eileen Fisher. Etc.

I'm in the same boat. Two items were pulled and shipped separately from my failed expedited shipping on Ambassador night. I did order to Varley sweaters on the day after and those have shipped. From the big order there a few things that are still show in stock, but the bulk is gone. The Mother jeans I wanted, the Nic+Zoe sweater, the Frame jeans......even the pink zella tee-shirt gone.

Like you said it is all material stuff....

I've had a few Dolce Vita pairs of shoes and they've been comfortable and seemed to last longer than a lot of brands at their price point, the leather is so much softer, a lot of brands at that price point seem stiff and don't break in.

For shoes I mostly wear: Repetto, Aquatalia, Jimmy Choo (heels), Veja, M. Gemi, Birkenstock, Castañer, Hoka/ On and Blondo

Think Sam Edelman is okay but the Steve Maddens are problematic (names are similar but different brands/quality).

My items are starting to come in. Question - since they already issued notes. What is the correct process for returns? Do I put the notes on the gift card and then do the returns or return the items and the notes will adjust accordingly?

I forget how to do it each year, lol.

Those of you with knowledge on Mephisto shoes - On Nordstroms site they are listed in whole US sizes, however it seems like the brand is similar to Birkenstock in that their sizes are euro 38/39/40/etc. Based on reviews I think I would need a size 41, is the US size 11 what Nordstrom is considering as a 41 for this brand? Thanks!
