The NAS opens on July 9th for Icons, July 10th for Ambassadors, and July 11th for Influencers. The public NAS starts on July 15th and runs through August 4th.

Low: I ordered at launch night for Icons - 17 items were supposed to be ready today. They were not, and I was there until 7pm! Two items I ordered yesterday were supposed to be ready today but weren't.

Yeah! That’s a score on the shoes!

But ugh on the low. I used to order pick up at store but it’s so unorganized, I no longer do it. Sorry they still aren’t ready.

The stand out for me was this pink coat from St. John. I wish I had taken a photo in person. The color reads more lavender. It’s beautiful. I can’t swing a purchase like this without some advanced planning, but maybe someone else is out there looking for a gorgeous $1,000 coat!

Same! I saw Linzi from The Mom edit try it on and when I did I didn’t like the texture at all. Wasn’t wowed about the color either so it stayed.

Thank you both for your thoughts on the St John coat! I was eyeing it before the sale opened to ambassadors and ultimately didn’t put it on my list because I thought the price is quite high for an unlined coat. However, your opinion nudged me to order the pink coat. I can’t wait to receive it!

On a separate note, my Max Mara GreenBox Insulated Hooded Jacket was cancelled this evening. Not too surprising I guess, since at the time of ordering, there were only three left in stock.

I wish I had read the posts on the St John coat immediately after, but I didn’t. As a result, right after my Max Mara jacket was cancelled, I decided to console myself by checking out the designer sale section of Nordstrom which has some fabulous deals.
I ended up ordering a Burberry trench, Khaite heels, and a Rick Owen sweater, each for for 60%+ off. I think I am done with my shopping this week. 😅

While not related to the anniversary sale, Nordstrom’s designer sale section had some good prices, although sizes and styles are a bit limited. But there are gems to be found like this Acne Studio micro musubi silver bag discounted more than 40% in case anyone is interested:

Just a reminder to check your receipts. This is the second year in a row that someone in the shoe department charged me full price (not anniversary) for all the anniversary shoes I bought today. I called Nordstrom’s card and they told me I have to go in and deal with it in person. Ugh…. Anyways just thought I would put that out there in case it helps anyone else.
