The NAS opens on July 9th for Icons, July 10th for Ambassadors, and July 11th for Influencers. The public NAS starts on July 15th and runs through August 4th.

They usually don’t have many in my size to begin with. Also, my store is smaller & doesn’t get all the things. I do want to pick things up in store tomorrow, but I don’t want to order them for in store pickup & have it cancel. I wish if they had to cancel an in store pickup that they’d reroute the order to the warehouse instead.

I did 2 day shipping last year & it took longer than 2 days. It was like a week before we got anything because they use Overnight 🙄 More like Lonestar we put them in random peoples cars & don’t track anything so you’ll see it in a week to 10 days. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Yesssss, it would only be right that they routed it to a warehouse. You know what they do now? Your order gets placed for shipping and it goes to the closest distribution to you and if that location doesn’t have it, the item gets canceled. That’s how they explained it to me a few years back which seems crappy it wouldn’t get rerouted to another place that has it if one sells out.

I think it depends on your feet. I know nothing about high or no arches. But I do know the Sambas are much more comfortable to me then the Gazelles. I order both half a size smaller. That said, I ordered the brown gazelles and wow! They are so comfortable, not at all like the other gazelles I own.

Saw this at my store and LOVED it. It’s beautiful but I don’t think it fits my lifestyle. Still contemplating it though. Does this brand run large, true to size?

Same! I saw Linzi from The Mom edit try it on and when I did I didn’t like the texture at all. Wasn’t wowed about the color either so it stayed.

St. John runs a little large. That said, I’m a large in most brands and the large here was just a little oversized in the arms/shoulders, which is exactly what I would want in a winter coat!

I wish we had a longer grace period for cancelling items during the sale. After seeing things in person, I want to just be able to cancel what I now know won't work and hasn't shipped yet instead of returning a bunch of stuff.

Every sale I also get annoyed that so many items get shipped individually. I end up with a million packages and it irritates my partner.

Does anyone have any experience with Nordstrom brand shoes? Are they comfortable?

I have both of these on my wishlist and they are different enough that I can justify both, right? 😂

I bought the Mary Janes today in black. Super cute and comfy. They were true to size for me

From your experience, do the Wit and Wisdom jeans stretch a little bit after wearing or a lot (like an entire size)?

Nope. The pairs that I own stay true to size (they are mostly cotton). I am very careful to wash them on cold setting and hang dry.

LSO has almost made me refuse to order anything from Nordstrom. They are ridiculous. Most of the time I get my packages from LSO after Nordstrom’s “promise date,” and they are only delivered after I’ve called customer service to inquire/complain.

Right? I had a negative balance this morning and now I have notes to use. Honestly idk what difference it makes since your “level” is based on $ spend, not “points.” So I guess I’ll spend them, since they expire soon. They would fix it if they didn’t want us to use them, or at least that’s my logic.

Whenever I have notes issued, I put them on gift cards. In my experience, when I have returns, the notes go away! Also, if you don't want them to expire, put them on gift cards!

I hate this so much. One year I got everything in one day and it was all in separate boxes. Like, I ordered three bras and they were all in individual boxes. I have no idea how that happened. I placed one big order but I got like 25 boxes.

Went for round two today to try on some athleisure after seeing the Mom Edit posts. Ended up passing on what they recommended with the exception of the Free People jacket. I ordered the white as a pop back but turns out I need the medium so I tried both on in the store and the other color I love! It looks purpley online and it’s more of we elephant grey in person. Ended up buying two other items from a couple of brands I’m not familiar with.

I like that Free People pullover, but my budget is “I’ll buy the Amazon version”. 😂

I feel like a lot of the FP stuff, even some sweaters and solid color dresses can be found there for less anyway. I tend to buy stuff from this sale that isn’t easily duped on Amazon, except the Zella, and only because of that color. I’ve been buying a lot of CRZ Yoga on Amazon. I wore a skirt, bra & this cropped wide arm tank from them the other day and someone asked if it was ALO. Nope.

I just like the grey thunder Zella color, though the tank is already sold out. And I know I love the Zella pocket leggings, so I’m getting a second pair in black. Otherwise, I’m good with CRZ Yoga for less.

So my high and low today.

High: I went to the store to do my returns. I thought I would check for the two Adidas shoes (pink/green platforms and brown Gazelles) that are OOS online and the SA found them in the size I needed!

Low: I ordered at launch night for Icons - 17 items were supposed to be ready today. They were not, and I was there until 7pm! Two items I ordered yesterday were supposed to be ready today but weren't.

My mom and I shopped the early morning event at the Oakbrook store and they had the same offerings as others mentioned, but there wasn’t anyone monogramming the bags. At least I didn’t see anyone and no one mentioned it when we checked in. The store wasn’t packed but there were a good number of people- especially in shoes! Had to wait for an SA.

It does pay to be at the store - I found one of the Varley tops that are sold out online. I couldn’t stay up till midnight and woke to find all the Varley and Nic+ Zoe items I wanted sold out. And my mom became my SA I was trying things on while my mom was looking around the floor. When she came back she told me about a Nic+ Zoe sweater that she thought was cute and turned out to be one of my wishlist sweaters. I had her run back to grab it and she found the other one I wanted too! Amazing.

They also had someone engraving - they could engrave a compact, bottle of perfume etc. so I finally jumped on the Stanley bandwagon and had her engrave it. Unfortunately no Stanley’s in the sale but it’s looks so good! My husband on the other hand thinks I’ve lost my mind when I told him how much one of those costs.

One sleeper item - the Halogen Geometric skirt. Really cute on! I think it’s better in person than the photo.
