Well, I am very easily convinced. This is beautiful- I also grabbed one as that is a great price for a leather jacket. I have been keeping my eyes peeled for a shorter jacket in a muted color that I can wear in the fall, and this is absolutely perfect.
Jacket arrived today and it is SO small!! Like 2 sizes too small. Booooo. This “moto” style of theirs must be made to be super fitted. I could get it on but it was uncomfortably tight through arms, shoulders, and armpits. It was also very narrow through the torso, and I have a pretty small torso and small breasts. It felt like a straight jacket and I ripped it right off.

I’m a 6 on top but usually get an 8 or M in these types of jackets (they have to pass the “hug and drive test” comfortably). I got this one in an 8. I just reordered it in a 10 (and would’ve gotten a 12 to try if they’d had it in stock) because it’s beautiful. Dusty blue leaning grey. Very soft and cute cut. (Or maybe it’s not the cut and it’s just particularly snazzy because it’s so tight and looks badass AF).

I guess the silver lining is that I bet a lot of people will return it after their first try due to size. So lots of pop backs?

Let me know when you get yours!

Anybody get a survey from Nordstrom about the sale? The final question was if I could change something about the Anniversary Sale, what would it be? I sadly did not have a good answer. :P
Yep! And could not for the life of me think of an answer besides bonus points days. I know we've discussed major annoyances, but brain went blank.

I didn’t get a survey, but if I were Nordstrom, I would let folks work with stylists during the “build your wish list” period to pre-order items and actually have them available in store on the first day of early access. It would have saved us all a lot of time and money!

I would be so much more motivated to go to the store in person if I knew the things I wanted would actually be there. I went to three different stores during early access and they either didn’t have what I was looking for or they looked very picked over (so no serendipitous finds for me). But I am still not sure if Nordstrom actually wants customers shopping in person. It sounds like the in person early access events were kind of a let down.

I unfortunately missed my in-person event, since I was traveling for work. But working with a stylist before early access sounds like a good suggestion!

Yes, my number one thing was let everybody order at the same time and stagger what gets released. I also said back in the day we could see the items in store and then pre-order it and pick it up the first day.

I received the Monica Vinader hoops that I want to gift my mom, and I like them a lot more in person, but I'm very disappointed in how they were sent. They arrived in a tiny pouch that is too small for the earrings and no MV box! All the MV jewelry I've ever bought comes in a little box in addition to the pouch.
Do you live near a store and could go ask for a box?

I did. My biggest complaints were loss of higher end brands and just the number of brands that used to be sale staples no longer participating. Lack of availability of items based on the level you are, by the time I can shop many items are already sold out. And quality of merchandise.

I felt the same way about the MV earrings I ordered during the NAS--first time ever I didn't get a box or signature pouch :(
