They told me there are 8 more bags in the system but I figured that chances are high that I might get another scratched bag if I exchange so I just returned it. Also, if it scratches easily, that's going to bother me anyway.

Aww, I'm bummed to hear that. I got the colorblock one yesterday and really like the look, though I was worried about how prone to scratches it will be since the leather is so smooth. I was able to get it in black as well, which I love, and I still need to go to the store to pick up the brown. I really only want to keep one of them, though I really love the look of it and the size is perfect for me. Of course, the scratches may deter me in the end to return all of them - I tend to prefer pebble leather for that reason.

I really liked the look of the colorblocked, as well, but the scratches show up as a light color on the dark brown and it just looks so obvious. Shortly after I returned it, I got a shipping notice for the black, which I was surprised didn't get cancelled. Hopefully that one is in good condition. Maybe scratches won't look as obvious on the black?

It’s been fun following along this thread again as in years past! I didn’t buy much and have nothing else to contribute but I’ve really enjoyed reading everyone’s posts.

I do have a question which I kind of know the answer to (from following this thread in the past) but would like confirmation from others who are seasoned NAS shoppers.

What’s the likelihood that Nordstrom will honor the NAS sale price for an item I bought literally right before the sale ended but was then canceled? I was able to snag it again on the first day after the sale ended and it just shipped out. Should I bother reaching out to CS?

I've had variable experience with this in the past. Sometimes they have been willing to price adjust since prior order was cancelled and other times they wouldn't. It is worth asking though!

I agree that it varies depending on who you get with customer service. I would definitely ask. If they say no, maybe wait a few hours or another day to ask again.

Ugh. I am wearing a pair of Veronica Beats shoes I bought in the sale. SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE and I LOVE the style. I don’t have another pair of loafers in my closet. And I just discovered these shoes are made in China. Which is a hard no for me. I SWORE they manufactured here in the US but that is no longer the case.

I’ve worn these, more than once already so it’s wrong of me to return them. But sadly I will not be purchasing from this brand again. :sad:

Had to share with those who would understand.

Are you talking about the woven loafers? Sad to hear that they are so uncomfortable!
