Oooh that is hard. I’ve been digging the rubber soles and yellow stitching on docs lately, but the fryes are super cute and nice quality too. I think it comes down to the soles. I like the Frye color better, but that’s just a personal preference.

Personally I would order both in case there’s a big difference in comfort or fit, but I wouldn’t expect big differences from those 2 brands.

Just received the Frank and Eileen cropped Catherine sweatpants - size XL - fit is fine (I'm normally a size 12) but don't like the cropped look on me. Plus the legs are just too wide. I tried it on with the popover shirt I already received and it was just too much blackberry on me so going back. Glad I tried it though - would have thought I missed my best outfit. I do love the sweatshirt and am keeping that. As an aside I had to contact customer service because my package had something spilled all over the one side of the box and it was starting to seep inside. Smelled like perfume or something sweet and you could tell it was just very recently done. Luckily the sweatpants were wrapped in plastic inside the box so no damage. I did complaint to CS though - the few times I've had issues with shipping its been LaserShip.

I was finally able to snag the popover in the silver sage size small and was so excited to receive it but noticed about 4 little droplets of blood or something on the collar on both sides I immediately washed it and the stains came out thankfully because I really didn’t want to return it since it was so hard to come by but I’m still so annoyed that Nordstrom allows these things to get by them how is this possible is there no quality control in high end department stores at all

I know my thoughts exactly and pretty much what I said to CS. How does a nice store like Nordstrom allow a half rate delivery service (someone in an unmarked car) drive up and deliver your items. How do they not inspect their returns before allowing to be shipped out again. I guess we both ended being lucky in the end but I think they could do better.

In the anniversary sale of 2020 (or maybe 2021), I ordered a Pendleton jacket that had a worn mask in the pocket 🤮

This year I ordered a pair of pricey Ferragamo loafers from Nordstrom. When it arrived, the box only had 1 shoe in it and, when I brought it to CS, the woman had the nerve to ask me if I was sure that they were being sold as a pair. WTF?

Aw man! Thats too bad. I do feel like with each size up, they make the leg wider and wider, which makes sense but I think sometimes brands overdo it.

I am deciding to stalk the silver popover. I posted a few days ago that I found a good deal on a website for patrick popovers, however their product description was wrong (thought one of the patricks I ordered was triple fleece, when in reality both were the regular thinner cotton henley), so I reached out to them about returning the one since I ordered it in the medium which I would wear in the triple fleece, its pretty big on me in the thinner cotton! I also grabbed a small in the navy/red stripe of what I knew was the thinner cotton and that fits great at least :smile:.

Surprisingly it has shipped. I'm shocked that it shipped today or got a label today. I have spent more this year than the past couple of years but I don't know that I got anything super exciting but great thing to wear and use at home. Maybe that is the secret the excitement fizzles for the exciting stuff but the regular stuff you use is what really should make you excited.

Just wanted to share some home items from the Anni sale that I’ve really enjoyed:
Sijo Eucalyptus Duvet Insert - paired w/ Nordstrom Organic Percale Duvet cover & Organic Cotton Percale Sheet set.
I sleep hot & the Sijo duvet insert is lightweight & does not feel suffocating. The percale sheets are also so soft. I highly recommend them. I’ve been sleeping so well the past week & it’s been hard to get out of bed in the mornings 😂
Oh & I’ve also been enjoying these Honeydew Pajama sets. I got them in both colorways. Very comfy & perfect for the summer. Stretchy material & they make booty look so good lol 😝 I wish there were more colors available!
Funny though that all these items did not initially catch my eye during the preview. I’ve hardly seen anyone talk about them here too but I’ve been enjoying these sleeper hits. These are absolutely my fave buys out of the sale.
