Wine? Oh no. I'm still waiting for mine and REALLY want to like it. Can you tell me if the wine color is more brown based or black based? I'm a cool tone and knew the blackberry would be good, but wine is usually a warm tone. I'm probably not explaining this correctly, but maybe those of you that have had your colors done can explain it better.
I would not call the color warm. It's really a blackish wine, pretty dark. I really like it as an alternative to wearing black.

Im in the same boat as you!! I ordered the blackberry sweatpants and matching cape top and am cool toned- i hope for both our sakes that it will suit us!

This totally sounds awesome! Do you have it linked up to your closet so that it will automatically deliver whatever outfit you choose in the app? I was so jealous when Cher did that in Clueless. That yellow plaid school girl outfit?! So good.

Similarities between the words Cladwell and Clueless a coincidence? I think not.
I have had this app for so long, I know they’ve made improvements, I think you can add an item via a link. But for me I just take a photo of the item I bought. For instance the pair of gazelles in the sale. I take a screenshot, then add it to the app from there. The app will remove the background for you.

Now, this said, it’s a BIG investment of work up front. That’s the only downside. But I think it’s worth it. As I stated I’m well into 2k days in this app.

I’ve learned I’m more comfortable with 145-160 pieces in my closet. {ahem} I may or may not currently be at 195 with the sale. So for me I’ll look at what I need to donate or return new pieces from the sale.

Anyway. I really recommend it.

Is this only in store? I can’t remember from previous years, but I can’t make it to the store this year since we are packing the car to leave for vacation. I don’t think my husband would be okay with me going to Nordstrom while he packs since the store is about 30 minutes to and from 🤣

I’m tempted to ask my SA who isn’t even in my local store to ship me one 🤪

I’m also debating if I should try and go in for this event this morning. Anyone been yet?

I like that phrasing, this may or may not be true!

Seriously, it does get hard to rotate clothing and accessories when the quantity gets too big.

So, I think today is the day that I'm going to do a deep dive in my beauty items--make-up, lip sticks, lotions/serums, etc.--to figure out what I need to order during these Glam Day events. :P

I have 3 things to do:

1. Complete a general inventory (sounds super business-like, right?) to determine if there's anything that's running out that I need to replace. I know for sure I need to buy a face moisturizer because it's almost empty.

2. Check the state of lip sticks--I know I have some that are no longer usable (I don't wear proper lipstick much anymore, I use tinted lip balm or those Clinique Chubby Sticks) and I want to buy a couple of everyday shades.

3. Checking expiration dates (a lot less fun, and sometimes quite sad) on shampoos/conditions, serums, lotions, etc, to see what I need to toss out based on it being open too long. I know I have some body lotions that I need to toss, I am not really good with body moisturizers so I never finish the container.

There's a really handy website where you can check this stuff (expiration dates and production dates) by brand by entering the batch #:

I did this during COVID lockdown (I was definitely bored!) and ended up tossing out a ton of "travel size" items, shampoos (I rotate 2 or 3 kinds), and random other stuff. It was definitely enlightening.

Anyway, that's how I'm going to spend my Saturday afternoon! :flowers:

I played with it last night for a while. I paid for a month to see if I would really use it. The only downside is that it will take a while to get your wardrobe uploaded. Errrr, it also makes me feel some kinda way about how many clothes I own.
I know! Do people set aside a month for the upload process?
I wish you could just scan your clothes and it would know what they were.
I’m going to play with it too!
