Finally got an order last night- two king fitted bed sheets are great (I dont really have much expectations for sheets other than I need cotton or linen), and I got two stretch cotton pima long sleeve shirts by nordstrom. I'm bummed, the shirts are pretty crummy. They are very thin (the white is completely transparent) and the mediums I got fit a bit big with loose fabric under my arms and the neck hole is too big and was actually loose and not sitting flat in the grey one I bought. I'm going to return both, pretty sad because these looked like good basics to have.

Good to know! These tops were on my maybe list. I’ve been looking for a good ribbed cotton top replacement since Everlane changed from their ribbed Pima cotton tees. I recently ordered a rib top from AYR and don’t hate it, but it’s $$$. Was hoping the Nordstrom one would be a cheaper alternative.

OK, I finally tried the airwrap. Here is a before picture (air dried) then 3 minutes with brush attachment straightened then another three minutes with barrel added some curl. Oh my God! Literally six minutes.

Hatechu because now I think I need the Airwrap. My air dried hair looks like that and I sometimes straighten it in the morning before work. I was just straightening my hair this morning with an old CHI and I was thinking of this post the whole time.

I need to say something about the candles. I love the scent. Bought them last year. When I burned the candle the first time it did not burn equally even after leaving for more than 4 hours. Not happy for this price, had to scrape wax of side. Totally bummed.

Yeah I agree, I am happy with the scents and throw but dont like that they dont burn evenly. They need 3 wicks, not two!

Try quince for these kinds of basics. Very nice quality, free shipping, returns for a year.

Shoot! I had talked myself out of it because it looked more complicated than I want to fool with. But if it will do that to my hair in six minutes I have to get it! Is this price good compared to other sales at other retailers during the year? I haven't paid any attention...

Also meant to add - I wanted to try the straightener smoothing brush thing and then also the barrel. You wouldn’t need to do both. 3 minutes!!!!

I'm struggling to decide whether to keep the Vince Chore Jacket. I love the jacket but it doesn't go with very much in my closet so I would have to buy more things to wear with it. I got both the Coastal and Off White color. (Background of these pics is AI because my real background in a mess ).

Try quince for these kinds of basics. Very nice quality, free shipping, returns for a year.

I love Quince bedding, but I’ve donated all the clothes I’ve ordered from them within a year.

Regarding the chore jacket, it’s really cute. For consideration - Jenni Kayne has one similar one called the Georgia jacket (https://www.jennikayne.com/products/georgia-jacket-natural). It’s the same idea but, IMO, much better overall. It just looks more expensive (full price is the same) and is a cotton/linen blend with no synthetics. The fabric is slightly nubbly, which gives it a softer look that is less stark and less “doctor.” I do like both, but would get the JK one of it were up to me. It’s $345 but they always have 15% (currently: July24) and sometimes more.

You can try moving the wicks next time you burn them when the wax is soft. I try to perfectly center all my candles for even burning. Of course, they should come that way, but it’s worth trying when they don’t!

The same for me. I ordered an Athleta dupe quilted jacket and it was nowhere near the quality of the Athleta version. Tank tops were thin and ill-fitting so no more buying clothes from them.

I think you can see the BP flannel is huge! Love the colors. The athletic Zella dress is not for me but I liked the fit. Had to show the baby boys clothes so cute & just restocked 🥰 love the other items. The black vest is an XL had to go up.

Thank you for sharing! I also purchased the hot wheels set for my 4 year old - he will love it! And the black vest also made it home with me - it seems like a nice piece to elevate an outfit

i appreciate this feedback! i have tried lots of basics - cotton LS and tees, tanks, and the cashmere jenni kayne dupes are basically identical in softness, style, quality (at least in terms of how they hold up). im glad to hear this though, because this is the first negative feedback i am hearing. good to be wary.

Many of their items are cut funny and don’t fit right, so those are returned right away.

The stuff I kept (wide-leg linen pants, short-sleeved dress with pockets) I discovered did not wash well (cold water, air dried). I do love their cotton gauze button down shirt though.
