I was so excited to check out I had my items shipped to the nearby Nordstrom Rack. I haven’t received an email and my items haven’t shipped yet. I only bought a few things that I really really wanted so I hope I get them

Great reminder. As an Icon surprisingly bumped to Ambassador this year, these are definitely first world problems. I was working and missed the excitement yesterday. I scanned the first page of the preview and quickly got back to work but I'm sure it must have been a fun time. I've learned not to say there's nothing that interests me this year because I say that almost every year and as the sale progresses, it's like they fine tune and either add things I do end up liking or things I didn't think I'd like turn out better than I thought, so we'll just see
It seems to me that the least Nordstrom could do is to allow Icons to select their own two hour window online between now and when they would otherwise start to shop, and purchase what they want. I’m an Ambassador, but think that the Icons are paying the highest price for the IT mess-up. Let them shop early for two hours of their choosing to give them some “compensation” for the potential harm caused.
Thats a good idea actually, it sounds reasonable for them to program on their end!
And ambassadors should get the same compensation!
If my wish list items sell out I will be mad that I didn't place them during the glitch but I really like the in-store experience with my SA who I've been working with for the past five anniversary sales and would miss that.
Also, the sold-out items usually come back on sale a couple months after the sale ends.

I think the key to seeing results is consistency so if you can commit to doing it religiously it's a great tool.

Thank you! I think the older I get realize life is too short. For me, shopping is purely recreational and I choose not to spend my time or money unless it’s something enjoyable. I plan on checking to see if my items are available on the 12th but if not, I’m not going to bother with it. I live in an area with excellent shopping options and all the brands I love are sold in stores many within walking distance. I don’t purchase a ton of clothing but purchase a few classic timeless pieces each year. I lived in scrubs for 50 years so I’m probably atypical. The pandemic put life into perspective. At the end of the day, it’s just stuff.

Also, the joggers look super cute! I hadn't even noticed those before! When you try them on, let us know if they make noise when you walk from the fabric moving

I carry my weight more in my midsection (apple shape) if that helps. I will report back. I have not noticed any joggers making noise for me ever. I bought these jeans because they are mid rise and I am not a fan of high waist as they squish my midsection. I am a solid size 8 and 5'8". Funny, I did notice the Add to Cart button during the glitch, but was so focused on creating a wish list, I kept scrolling past the dang button. Probably for the best because I'm not ready yet and am TRYING to be a good bunny and plan well this year (haw haw haw will still panic buy a thing or five).

Considering the AllSaints Dalby in black since my old Caslon hooded jacket is looking worn. But the Midnight Blue Elora looks nice so any modeling shots of that would be appreciated!
