I thought that they stopped doing price adjustments for nordie anniversary sale items last year. I bought a Paige flannel last year and it canceled. It naturally was back in stock after the sale, and I grabbed it and they didn't give me a price adjustment when I requested one.
Oh, that sucks. I have a sales person I work with, so she always honors it.

Is it too early for everyone to say what their one favorite item is from the sale this year? I’m still waiting for my last couple purchases to roll in but am wondering what the faves are before the sale ends.
Some faves:
(sized down full size from 9.5 to 8.5 as reviews recommended) They look kind of like chunky Gucci loafers and are really comfy.
#1 choice

Kut from the cloth Dreamer wide leg jeans

Nike React Phantom Run Flyknit 2 Running Shoe (Unisex)

Love this shampoo and bottle lasts for years. High quality!

DRYBAR brush dryer - haven't tried yet

Awaiting:
https://www.nordstrom.com/s/sepia-plaid-jacquard-oversize-cardigan/7045883 in both colors

Kut from the cloth black coated jeans (like very much but awaiting a size down)

Bought other AS items and non Anniversary items as well

#1 Choice meant to say Loafers in solid Black. Other colors meh!

Also got the plus size Wit & Wisdom wide leg pants in the cold brew color and I'm super impressed. Great fabric, great color, very comfortable, and a flattering fit - for plus size pants this is like a unicorn for me.

These are a win for me too but I ordered a size down to compare as I’m thinking they’ll stretch some. Do these strike you as something that we want to be really tight to account for stretch or do you think they’ll hold their shape and size?

I ordered the black as well and am comparing those against the similar Vince Camaro pants which i definitely needed a smaller size in.

My understanding is that if you call when you see the item back in stock, they will give you the sale price if you had it cancelled during the sale… which I guess is (technically) different than you just buying it and then calling after the fact to request a price adjustment - could that be it?

This would be similar to price-matching, ie, you have to call and ask them to sell it to you at the matched price, you can’t just shop and buy things and then call them afterward to request that they match the price.

I’m just guessing, though! I definitely agree that it depends on who helps you too, which is really lame.

Wasn't planning to buy anything this NAS, but then I saw these. Got both bags with vacationing specifically in mind (the XS is just what I need for humid/rainy trips for daytime treks crossbody and could also double for tropical dinners top handle. The expandable tote is what I could have used earlier this summer to carry-onto the plane my shopping exploits, instead of my beach bag which looked like it was getting stressed from the pointy packages----see image). I tried the sample of the Bobby Brown cream eyeshadow and it stays put better than anything I have tried before.
The colors are not coming out accurately in my photo: the taupe XS is much lighter, and the pomegranate is much softer and more muted than the loud pinkish color in my image.

I bought the item online and requested for an adjustment to the sale price online they denied it. I then took the item to the store after it was delivered and requested a price adjustment and showed them my canceled order, which they can already see by pulling up my shopping history. They also refused to adjust the price in store saying that they don't do price adjustments for items in the anniversary sale. I ended up returning the item. It is in their price adjustment policy. It's a sh!t policy when they cancel the order. I can understand buying it after the sale and then wanting the sale price. But they have my shopping history so they know I tried to buy it several times and they canceled all of my orders for the item.

Interesting. Thanks for digging that up!

I have only done it where I call/chat and ask the person to process the purchase for me at the sale price. I’ve never tried doing it your way (ie, buying it full price and asking them to price adjust).

Maybe my way isn’t considered a “price adjustment” and they don’t apply that policy you pasted above since technically I’m not adjusting anything but rather having them “fix” the previous order that cancelled due to some “inventory glitch” (with a casual confused hand gesture/shrug for good measure if I’m in person). I typically frame it along the lines of asking them to fix my order that was “erroneously” cancelled and show them that there are actually plenty available so “who knows what happened - isn’t that strange!?” Then they just redo the exact order at exact same price. :graucho:

Im not trying to be sketchy - all of what I say is true, which is exactly why they should honor the sale price. On the other hand, I’m not like some magical conversational master manipulator, so it could totally be random that it has worked for me and not you (which would suggest that I should stop shopsplaining clever wording choices to you).

Trying to figure out their “whys” for things like this is baffling and impossible. I’m actually really curious what folks experience this year - keep us posted y’all!

I've had that experience too but I also have had success getting a price adjustment when CS can clearly see I have had an item cancel several times on me and they have pity on me. Luck of the draw I chalk it up to. Worth a shot in any case.

They seem like they will hold their shape well. I don't think I would be able to fit into a smaller size, the size I got is pretty form fitting already so if they stretch at all it will be ok I think. I am waiting for the black to come, too. I tried the plaid Vince Camuto pants in store and didn't like them as much because they don't have any stretch at all so they are not as comfy. Are the black VC like that, too?
