The Necessaire body wash is awesome (I personally love this scent). Save the bottles to refill when you're done because they sell jumbos at a better value, including the unscented version if you wish!
I think if it reads preparing to ship you are OK.
I ordered the MonicaVinader Heirloom stacking ring last night around 10PM and just received notification that it's "Shipped"...meaning they created the label. 
Anyway, it's funny that my order from last night is being processed but my order from th 14th is still Preparing to Ship. I wonder if it will ever ship...not that I "need" any of it!

I have two orders that have been preparing to ship since 7/15. I assume they will be cancelled.

Preparing to ship can definitely get cancelled.
I placed an order on 7/15 and 7/18 for the same product. No priority shipping. The one I placed 7/18 has shipped, the 15th is still in preparation.
I received one big item yesterday.
Then another one is coming to me tomorrow.
The "preparing to ship" items (5) will arrive in one box on the 27th. So yes, I'm actually getting all merchandise purchased.
PS: These are all items in one order that I placed immediately on the 15th at 12:01am ET. Literally.

I ordered the free people skort shorts on 7/14 on a popback and they shipped today surprisingly!
So far, everything I've ordered has shipped which is a rarity lol. I did snag a pop back of some Mother dazzler jeans last night, if anything is at risk for cancelling, it's definitely those!
Nope just received email it was cancelled!
