I'm in LA and Ambassador level so today is my day for online shopping and store pickup on the 10th or 11th. Honestly it is so frustrating because the website has been at a crawl all morning. Pages don't load, I'm trying to see a dress and it keeps taking me to the same trousers on and on. I've got a few things in the cart but if I didn't have a couple of days to finish ordering I'd be freaking out right now. I don't believe the entire sale is available for preorder, it is rather limited at this point. If it's this bad today I am not hopeful they can get it together for the actual sale date!

Also, FYI that I see NO maternity items in the sale this year (at least in the items online for preorder today). Bummer.

You were actually able to go online and shop the anniversary sale, put the sale items in the basket, and check out?

It makes sense to me that the selection available for preorder is limited at this point. I was shocked they would eliminate maternity clothes entirely from the sale, but they probably just haven't put them up yet. It did seem like a smaller selection overall (and, in the case of some items like towels, they only have a few random colors available instead of the full range that they have in other years).

Thank you for checking. I think the notes are not given out until August 20 for this promotion, so would not work during the Anniversary sale.

That sounds like a pain for pick up in your area.

I am a little bummed that the start time is not until 12:30 on the 12th. in the past, one of my favorite things to do was to make an appt for very early in the morning, like 8:00, and just shop department to department with my SA, almost by myself in the store. It was quiet and empty! it was emotional, like being a kid in a candy store! I was typically finished by the time the store got crowded. Now, with a 12:30 start, the store will be crowded and a totally different experience. Oh well, I guess we can hope with all that pent up demand at 12:30, the site will get glitchy and we'll get 10X points!

Yeah. What the heck was the point? They have been curiously downplaying the lead-up to the sale, it seems. An email blast with a link that has complete and clear details would be great, same with a click-through banner on the website to take you to the info and catalog.

I have one heck of a time viewing the catalog via the website. I can't find a link to it anywhere.
