Non Designer looking bag for job interviews...

I am a freelancer in the entertainment industry and I need a bag that doesn't look like a designer bag for job interviews. I need to be able to carry all of the contents of my purse (Large Wallet, Cosmetic Case, Business Cards, 2 Pairs of Glasses, Keys, and Cell Phone) as well as my Agenda and a Few File folders.
My interviews are pretty casual. Usually I wear pants and sweater. I found this baby bag at the Kate Spade Outlet and thought it might do the trick. It has room for everything and has tons of pockets on the inside and out. It is Nylon with leather trim. I don't have any pics yet so I pulled these from Ebay ... I almost forgot it has a cute leopard lining.

What do you all think. Thanks....

I think it could work but I'm scared that it might be too bulky. If you like the nylon look, have you considered Longchamp Le Pliage? Its less structured and will definitely fit everything you need in there.

It’s defiantly a cute bag, but imo I’m not sure about the material and that it’s a nappy bag, because it’s very cute I think you would get away with it. I love kate spades ‘Fairfax Stevie’ I think it would do everything you need and it also looks quite smart but still casual http://www.katespade.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3403496&cp=1863844.2180761&view=all&parentPage=family

There is also this one on ebay

which is cheaper but a little less casual

and here’s a very cheap one that is super cute and similer to yours

hope this helps

thanks ladies...it's not really as bulky as it looks n the photo and its not quilty.
I may keep this one as I like it and keep looking as I have something special coming up.
I don't really want to spend more than 300.00.

I like the Coach Madeline, it's the one I bought a few months ago for job interviews when I start having them in summer! If you buy a leather one it won't stad out as being "designer".

I would stick with something in a black leather, simple lines. Looks very professional to me.

I agree. I love my Pliage, but I would never take it to an interview for the kind of work I do.

It also depends what kind of job you are looking for. If you're in advertising or entertainment, maybe something flashy is OK, and even good. It sounds like that's OK in your case. (But coming from the non-profit world, which is entirely different, I would be totally put off if somebody walked in and was carrying a LV or something show-off-y the first time they walked in.)

In any case, you need the focus to be on YOU and your skills, not on your bag.
