I am a big fan of TeNo. Here's an excerpt on TeNo:

TeNo products are crafted by the prestigious German jewelry and watch manufacturer, Heinz Schwarz, GmbH, and distributed throughout the world. TeNo uses new and progressive materials in their creations. They mix rubber and ceramics with diamonds, sapphires, gold, topaz, wood and steel to design a unique concept for the modern lifestyle, expressing elements of both tradition and innovation. TeNo jewelry and watches are made from the finest stainless steel that is free of nickel. With this successful concept, TeNology is sweeping the nation.

I just LOVE their stainless steel rings. I have several. One's a stainless steel ring with two stripes of ceramic embedded, the other is a pink sapphire tension set stainless steel ring, and the third one is a pink sapphire pavee stainless steel ring. Their design is very modern and simple.

Other than the common jewellery names and pieces that we all know e.g. Tiffany, Chopard, Cartier, Harry Winston; what other jewellers producing unique pieces e.g. vintage jewellery, jade, etc that you love?

I love Lotus Arts De Vievre, Loang & Noi and Haracca for their artistic creations, something unusual, different from the common diamond rings, necklaces and etc. They make use of different kind of precious stones such as ruby, emerald, jade, sapphires, rubys, pearls, etc and creatively set them into stunning pieces.

I love rings more than anything else. I can't leave home without putting on one huge Loang & Noi ring. I have Indonesian roots, my grandfather, a Chinese Indonesian moved to Hong Kong; so I can't get away from blingy-blingy rings.

Loang & Noi has quite organic designs. I love how delicate their pieces can be.

I like some H. Stern pieces, especially because I love tourmalines. And there's a pair of tourmaline earrings at Seaman Schepps that I'm just dying for. I also just saw some great woven gold cuffs by Verdura

I saw a fabulous ring by Nancey Chapman in a magazine yesterday. It's available at Bergdorf Goodman. And I noticed some vintage Jean Mahie pieces last month that I wish I'd sprung for. I adore Jean Schlumberger's designs for Tiffany.

For sterling, I really like some of the earlier John Hardy pieces. I guess these are all pretty well regarded stores or designers, but they hadn't been mentioned yet.

H. Stern is one of my favorites!

Also love Cathy Waterman.

And who doesn't love JAR??

Pianegonda is my favorite for sterling silver.

Vera Wang is pretty and feminine.

My favorite is Dior Joaillerie.

The best place to go for jewelry is Gem Palace in Jaipur. I also love the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Wonderful vintage pieces!

(Yes, I realize some of these are very common names.)

Georg Jensen, Movado and Temple St. Clair.

Movado has some beautiful pieces but most people only associate them with watches and are surprised they make jewelry. It's a bit odd because I see quite a few magazine ad for Movado jewelry.

Stephen Dweck.

I love Stephen Dweck! I collected for about 10-12 years, until he started doing the teeny weeny dainty stuff. I loved the fabulous interesting large stones he used, and the chunky silver or bronze chains of the substantial pieces he used to do. I must have 50 of his necklaces and bracelets. But done for now - his prices for similar items he is doing now has skyrocketed. And I have plenty to wear.

Years ago, he had a trunk show at NM Stanford Mall, Palo Alto CA and I was invited for a luncheon with him in his honor. It took me forever to decide what piece I would wear, and, you know, I forget what it was now.:p

I have one regret- during that shoe he had a one-of a kind SPECTACULAR UNBELIEVABLE necklace composed of perhaps a dozen large, hand-carved cameos made by artists in his studio. They were old European artisans, the like of which are rare these days. It was $10,000.00. At the time, I just couldn't part with that much money for it.

I have never stopped thinking about it since.

I surely have spent that much ove the years on a number of things that would come to that total, and maybe got tired of and don't even own any more. I tell you it was a masterpiece.:crybaby:

Sigh, wish I had gotten it.
