No inventory?

Between covid and Christmas, it's not a surprise. Even pre-covid, things would sell out fairly quickly around Christmas, especially the canvas bags. Although I am not in the market for anything right now, I have noticed bags being briefly restocked in the evening, EST in the US.

That's a good point. Christmas is usually low and Covid has made that more so. Thank you for the tip, I'm continuing to check often! Fingers crossed!

Most definitely. I finally decided to add a Neverfull MM to my collection. I had been trying to get one since the first week of December. It was ALWAYS sold out. I was finally able to order it Monday, and picked it up today.

I’m having the same problem, everything I’m interested in is not available. Very frustrating. I’ve completed quite a few ‘notify me when it’s available’ so let’s hope I don’t have to wait for too long.

Here's a suggestion... Call 1-866 and ask the CS agent if they could help you place an order on some items because they aren't available locally and you found that they are available in other stores.

However, brace yourself. Some CS agents will flat out tell you it's not available online so they cannot place an order for you. Don't be discouraged! Just say your thank you and hang up.

If you were told no, call again in a few days and hopefully a more helpful CS agent answers your call and would be willing to place an order for you. You might need to do this a few times if you kept getting told no.

When you place an order over the phone, the CS agent will enter the order on their system and then you will get a payment link via e-mail very quickly, say within a few seconds (that's my experience anyways). You'll have up to an hour to click on the payment link and complete your payment.

When I placed my phone order a few days ago, I had the CS agent stayed on the phone while I complete my payment to make sure it went through though :smile:

Have all the item numbers on hand before you call. That will help save time because CS agents usually pull items based on the item numbers.

Once order is placed, it will show as 'Submitted'. On your profile overview page on the website, you'll also see 'Pending Product Availability'. CS agents typically say the item(s) will ship within 2 weeks/14 business days. Depending on the product, sometimes it changes to 'Pending Order Validation' within a day or two, sometimes it might be longer. Other times, it might just get cancelled completely if product is 100% unavailable and your account will be refunded.

This is how I ordered my Noe Pouch. Ordered 1/4, shipped 1/7. If everything goes as planned, my order should arrive tomorrow 1/8 since the CS agent added complimentary overnight shipping without me asking :smile:

Quick update - my dream bag is on its way to me! My husband called LV in secret and was referred to the Sloane Street store, who had the bag in question. Apparently it’s the last one in the country and is a special edition. The SA, Rosario, was uber helpful, even going as far as Face Timing us with the actual bag! The transaction was very simple and easy, and very soon I‘ll be the proud owner of one Mini Capucines in red and black.

I must've gotten lucky just now on the phone. I called to double check if an item is in stock at a store near me.
The CS was super helpful and nice. She told me which store and boutiques has the item in stock but offered to help me order and ship it to me instead so I don't have to leave my house. I told her I've been stalking the website for this item to restock and haven't had much luck. She said no one thinks to call CS to place an order, but they can definitely do it for you over the phone even if the item says out of stock online. Chances are, the item is in stock somewhere and they can arrange it to be shipped to you.
She also stayed on the phone with me to make sure I didn't have issues with payment. Now, I wait for my item to ship. :biggrin:
