Nicki isnt my cup of tea. I tried listening to a few of her songs but i feared I was loosing brain cells too rapidly. Since i watch the hills every week, i figure thats enough mind numbing entertainment. I also cant stand the fact that most of her obsessive fans seem to be hoodrats who already had an affinity for bad outfits and brightly coloured weave. The whole barbie gimmick is annoying...
Man the fact that I cant enjoy most mainstream rap music these days makes me feel super oldI'm not even 30 yet!

And maybe that's the influence.
Only thing that mattered was his body... and the way they nicely photoshopped his last CD cover, he was looking a few notches farther than cute!
yes! those were great songs!! I esp love so anxious!! and none of your friends biz (forgot if that the sorrect title).
One of my former co workers ruined "differences" for me. He was dating one of my bff's (we all worked together) and when she would leave work (we worked diff shifts) he would break into that song and look like a sad puppy dog.
I never paid attention to his latest album, I knew he couldn't top what he's done. He was gone too long.
Back to Nicki Minaj...seems Foxy Brown is taking a liking to her:

King Blues Club & Grill when she rapped, “I’m the only Trini chick that can kick yard ****,” causing concertgoers to speculate whether she was taking shots at Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj, but Foxy said she has no problem with female rap’s breakout star.
“I actually applaud Nicki for it,” she told MTV News. “I think she’s doing an incredible job of branding herself. When you’re a boss *****, you give it up. Send her a Chanel bag or something. If you’re winning, you’re winning. That’s just how I see it.”
While she did give Minaj props, she also cautioned female MCs not to mess with her. “I’m a beast on that mic,” she warned. “I don’t really think they want any problems with that.”
Unlike the Queen Bee, Fox doesn’t feel her peers need to pay homage to her. “I’m not even in that category ’cause I’m still one of the youngest female rappers in the game,” she said. “[Other rappers] may feel like that because they’re older, but I myself am still young.”

me too. I have a crush on Drake. Not because he's cute but he seems sweet on the low and maybe alittle corny. I think I have a soft spot of awkardness.
He tries so hard to fit in w/ YM though.

Drake being a total creep
During a performance, Drake took it upon himself to point out a lucky fan sitting on the shoulders of her boyfriend. He asked if that was her boyfriend, and when found out it was, he said “I’ll F*ck the sh*t out that girl, I don’t give a f*ck about your man. I will put it on you”
Now Drake, that was just wrong. What was he(the boyfriend) supposed to do after that?
Telling your fan to take her “t*itty” out would fly with any other artist, but we remember when a fan flashed you a while back– you covered your eyes and screamed “Oh my god.” We wouldn’t want you to be traumatized again, now would we…
By the way… you know what a satchel is?

Exactly. He's such an odd fit with that crew. I guess it gives him the 'street' creed he so desperately lacks, not that he needs it but whatever. I just wish he could be himself... sometimes he reminds me of one of those misguided biracial kids that try SO hard to be 'down' through embodying everything that is sterotypical of a black male. You dont need to do all of that drake... I'm not even gonna comment on the mess i just read. No words
I don't get it honestly. One of the things I always really liked about him was that he seemed very respectful of women, and being raised by a single mom, I was disappointed to hear this kind of sh&t coming out of his mouth.
There's no excuse for it no matter who you are. It's not okay, but the fact that Wayne is his mentor, what else can I expect?
Excatly that him being a little corny real appeal to me. And I really don't like when he tries to fall in line with Hoodtastic Young Money.Eeeww I feel the more famous he gets the less appealing crush wise he'll be to me.
