She set rumours of aflame (once again) on Wednesday night as she posted snaps of a massive diamond sparkler on her wedding finger.
And by Thursday morning Nicki Minaj confirmed with Billboard that her boyfriend Meek Mill had in fact given her the choice piece of jewelry but denied talk of an engagement.
The 33-year-old, who goes topless on the cover of the magazine, was at her mercurial best for the interview as she teased a possible future wedding to her rapper beau.
'Meek gave me that,' she explained about her sparkler. 'He and I are not engaged.'
However, to complicate things even more, she added almost as an afterthought: 'But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married.'
She also revealed that Beyonce and Jay Z have given the couple relationship advice: 'We actually spoke with Jay Z and Beyoncé about it, too.
'After our show at [Brooklyn's] Barclays Center [in October], we had dinner together. They were so giving with advice. I love them so much. It was just a beautiful conversation to have with people we love and we look up to as a couple. They're so strong.'
But fans shouldn't get too comfortable with the idea of Meek, as Minaj concluded: 'I don't know what's going to happen with he and I. I just know right now we are really, really enjoying each other's company.'
Meanwhile, Meek could face jail time if his probation is revoked.
The hip hop star was pictured at a Philadelphia court on Thursday after appearing to take a trip without obtaining a travel voucher, which would violate the conditions of his probation for a drug and gun conviction from 2009.
The 28-year-old, born Robert Rihmeek Williams, is required to remain in Philadelphia unless otherwise having obtained permission, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
As of November 1, 2015, Mill was not permitted to travel without first obtaining a voucher, according to the court documents.
A judge has ordered the rapper to appear in court for a probation violation.
While Mill was seen attending the American Music Awards in Los Angeles in November it is unknown if his hearing is related to the industry appearance.
The I'm A Boss artist spent several months in jail last year for a similar violation.
