She used the homes as collateral for the bond. You usually pay 10% of the bail in cash which probably was $1 million since she paid $100k cash. She probably used 2 homes that valued up to the $1m to guarantee the bond instead of using a bondsman or insurance. I'm guessing his home in Baldwin is probably under her name and her mom lives in LI too so that home is probably under her name too. So, $500k each for those homes seems reasonable for the area.


They may have set a high bail for him since they may see him as having access to her resources plus the nature of the arrest. If the bail was $100k then she would've paid $10k to bail him out which would be ridiculous...I can't imagine a bail that low for what he was arrested for.

not necessarily. She may just be thinking that prisoners aren't kind to these type of people...and make being in holding until the trial hell for them as they should.


I honestly don't know what I would do either unless I was 100% certain that the claim was true.
