I really should break down and go to my boutique and create a relationship with an SA so that I can get invited to the private sales lol
It doesn't hurt. [emoji1]
Just find you a good one who doesn't try to pressure you for a sale and will understand that sometimes you may purchase online when the cashback sites have a good %. Mine helps to keep me inline with my purchases. [emoji23]

Haha! Yea that’s why I’m always weary to go. I like to do a lot of research before purchasing and don’t want to feel pressured. I’m only going to buy when I’m 100% sure on a purchase. I’m an exclusively online purchaser but it would be nice to see items in person and choose the best one in store. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m ok giving up getting the best price if my bag is going to be perfect. Most of the time I don’t wait for items to go to 50% during SAS or the outlets because if I want to exchange there may be no stock at that time. Does that make sense? I really should go to the boutique [emoji23]

Makes total sense. My store doesn't get some items so most if what I get always has to be ordered from JAX. I usually get most of my stuff during F&F and the time some make it to SAS I've already been enjoying them.

I totally understand what you mean. My SA at the local store isn't pushy per se, but is definitely a top-down seller. I walk in just wanting to see some bags in person, telling her that straight up that I'm waiting for "the event" and she shows me everything and anything offering to pre-sale etc. I start out seeing $700 bags and in the end she is down to showing me the $45 bag charm lol. She's really sweet, but is so much a go getter that I feel guilty not buying anything. I only go into that store when I know I'm buying. I'll occasionally text her about a bag (her store gets EVERYTHING) and next you know she'll send me a pic of the bag, all dressed up with a novelty strap, scarf, bag charm or whatever. It cracks me up. It's also because her store gets everything that I'm reluctant to buy sight unseen because returns shipped from her store are harder than returns from Jax.

Alternatively, my main SA who gets almost all of my business (e-bates aside) I've never met. She lives across the country and we just text back and forth. Zero pressure. Plus, she will hunt down a bag for you and basically go above and beyond w/o the pressure. I'm grateful that a fellow tpfer shared her with me :)

That’s so awesome you have the cross country SA! Haha! She sounds great.

The SA in your store sounds like she means well but that’s a little intense for me lol Thanks for sharing your situation [emoji1]
