I was at the Coach store yesterday and talked a little with my SA.
Basically it's as has been reported here.
Coach has decided...No more PCE.
The only way we will be able to buy at a discount in the FP Coach store will be with the semi annual sale, and as we saw, these will be the discontinued bags, not current bags. No discount for current bags.
However, I guess this strategy hasn't been working out for them, because she said they have been matching Macy's and Bloomindales sale prices.
But I'll probably just go ahead and buy from Bloomingdales and other stores that offer discounts. Maybe if we all buy from those stores that have it on sale, Coach will rethink the PCE decision or at least offer a discount on the current bags a couple of times a year.

Yes, the PCE is gone, but you guys are lucky as you have department stores which have promos / sales on current Coach bags and that Coach is willing to price match in some cases

That makes sense--designer clearance sales typically kick off around Thanksgiving.

The most I ever received (in the mail) are invitations to come shop and get 25% off (excludes capsule collection stuff) with an expiry date. I don't think it was a real PCE per se.
That would have been considered a real PCE. One time (I think it was one time only) they offered 30% off, but most of the PCE's were 25% off with a specified time frame. In the last few years, they also did $100 off a purchase of $300 or more.
