yikes, I agree with the above suggestion about taking it to a LV boutique and seeing if they can do anything, if not then send it back to elux for an exchange! But don't exchange it for the black, I think white suhali is so beautiful and it compliments the gold hardware very well!

I've found that bags from elux are often not 100% perfect. I think because of their generous return policy (60 days) some of the bags are "gently used" before they are returned.

I would exchange the suhali for another. G/L

Thanks guys. Yes I'm going to return it. Very dissapointed though. I'm going to try white one more time. If all is not perfect, I may just get black. Will keep you guys posted.

Pooey on eLuxury for sending out something that is not perfect. An item that is branded as "luxury" should be impeccable. I have ordered an Ellipse PM from them that has not yet arrived, I have my fingers crossed! I think from now on I will give up the sales tax (8.75% :weird and go to the boutique so I can inspect first.

Any chance the boutique will exchange a purchase from eLuxury?

I don't think so. They're both owned by LV but operate separately.

Hey guys, for the update, I called this am and spoke with an ever so helpful SA. They are always very pleasant, thank goodness. I explained the situation and she absolutely agreed and urged me to return the item and said she'd ship me a pre=paid fed-ex label for the return. So I have decided to exchange for another white one. She stated that they would do an extra measure of quality control on the item to check for flaws. The whole process should take about a week. I'll let you all know the outcome. I'm nervous that I'll find something though.

to Pidgeon92, I believe that if you call to speak with a sales manager at a LV boutique, they may make an exception to honor a return from an elux item. I've done it in the past once. They will just charge you for sales tax, but sometimes it may be worth it to be able to inspect in person. I just can't bring myself to it yet on this purchase, since saving on tax is quite substantial on this item.
