I was just wondering if anyone else has experience this with their Speedy Empreinte with the updated pocket.
I noticed from day one that the handles were a bit off. The handle on the side where the slip pocket is located has more lax and doesn't hold it's shape like the other one does. Essentially, you can feel it tugging down more while holding the bag. It feels quite uncomfortable when comparing it to the other handle.
Initially, I thought that this would happen to the other handle, one handle just became lax far quicker than the other. But to my demise, the opposite handle of the slip pocket is still holding it's shape and is still far more firm 6 months in. I never contacted my SA because I got a replacement item and I felt awkward asking about a brand new item that I thought already had something wrong.
Based on my photos, do you think that I should see if it could get repaired/replaced? It does bother me that one side has a lax handle, something of a thin strapped neverfull and the other side has a standard firm, well-kept shape of a speedy.
Also, does anyone else notice that the front pocket gets misshapen and wrinkled looking? I am trying to look at photos of others, and you all seem to have tight and firm slip pockets!

Yes I see exactly what you mean and I would be bothered too. I have the old Speedy Emp though. I would dwfinitely take it to LV it is defective. Don't be ashamed you oaid a lot for it and it should be perfect. On my Speedy Emp they replaced the handles and the strap for free after three years after purchase. So take it there by all means. Don't settle for something you are not happy with.

Wow I'm sorry this happened. LV stands behind their products so you can definitely ask for a repair .
And my friend has the new model (I have a few of the old models), and she also experienced wrinkling on her front pocket. With hers, she experienced one solid crease along the top of the front flap and then veining and deep creases. She uses her pocket daily. Empreinte leather relaxes with time and for her, because she was constantly using the pocket and pulling it out, the leather started showing a bit of wear and tear in this way. It didn't make the bag look bad by any means though. It became noticeable compared to when she first got it, but she loves that pocket for her phone and such so she's still using it and loving it .
