Oh, thank god! I was really disappointed that the line was discontinued since I had planned on purchasing a bag for my birthday, coming up in May. However I am more than happy to wait until August and just get a little fun item like the early bird key chain and/or something from the jungle collection! With all these price increases, this will most likely be my last LV handbag purchase, so I'm gonna go big and go home and I think this new revamp speedy empriente will be a nice addition. 
That's great news!!!! I'm not sure about the pocket if it's on the outside, but you can't really tell until you see the bag. It may look interesting.
Thanks for sharing the big news! I love this bag and I'm still sad it's being discontinued, but hopefully what they'll come up with will be equally good or better!

Here's a visual aid for the pocket on the front of the epi speedys. I'm not sure how secret this pocket is...
Also on second thought it might be a secret pocket like the Venus where the pocket flap looks like bag design or probably more likely something like alma bnb (bag in bag) where there is an outside layer for a thin slip pocket? Just guessing here!
