new show on Fox - 911

I saw the commercials for this new show created by Ryan Murphy and thought it would be so good. How can it go wrong with a cast of Peter Krause, Angela Basset, Connie Britton?
Well I was very disappointed. It was run of the mill cop/firefighters type show at best. I'd rather watch Law & Order. These actors must have been embarrassed to say their lines.
Anyone else watch this new show last night?

really? I was disappointed esp with Peter Krause having been in two of my all time faves - Parenthood and Six Feet Under

I did. Angela Basset and Connie Britton's storylines are enough to keep me interested until Peter's develops. I was not to impressed with the dynamic with him and the young firefighter/sex addict story but I can give it another episode or two.

The first few times I tried to watch it, I flat out hated it. Once I stopped expecting them to follow correct protocol and perform procedures correctly, I got into it. I hope they renew.

It was renewed for a second season back in January.

I saw somewhere that Abby/Connie Britton is working on another show, so I don’t think she will be back. I really liked the storyline between her and Buck!
