Nice package, but am I the only one that worries about water damage?? I admit I always do when stuff is not shipped in plastic, but yeah, my SA had said they really made improvements after all the complaints. TBH, one reason I quit ordering from Coach period was because at one point I was taking SO much back or just dealing with crappily shipped items that either had damage from packing in boxes that were too small for the bag or damaged outer boxes. Once they even threw a fob down loose once, and it almost came out of the box since it was just lightly taped. It was horrible, so this is great to see and congrats on your new bag!!!

I think they're trying to be more "green" by not including plastic; but yes, in either case, I find it worrisome. However, I think all the things I receive from them before, badly wrapped or not, had no plastic, so it's not like this is a new thing.

I didn't think about the water thing but I will keep my fingers crossed I have never received a wet package before. But I much prefer this shipping way than my bag swimming in empty space.

I just received my Rhyder, and it was a mix of the old-style cardboard box, plus all the new packaging inside. Did you request a gift box? I didn't, and was wondering if that's what made the difference.
