New Ruby color Rouge

I just did a pre-order for the Rogue 25 in the Ruby color. Coach sent me this sample of the color. I thought it would be more red. This seems similar to the melon color?!?

Water melon maybe. Definitely not like the last melon color Coach released earlier.

Pretty sure this color is identical to the current coach New York color "washed red", last summer "cloud" was a New York color and they did "steel blue" in 1941 and the color was identical. Don't really know why they do that.

I like Washed Red in the Apple watch strap, but it's not 1941 Red. I'm still so sad that I missed most of those items. All I have is a wallet.

That's disappointing... I was hoping for something as vibrant as 1941 red, or something a little deeper/darker (like the t-shirt that comes up when you search for "ruby" on the website).

I'm pretty sure that this color is the new "washed red" which is now shown on the Charley Carryall bag. The color is
not a bright, vibrant red, but still very nice. It is definitely not melon.

I love 1941 red. It's the best red I've seen! What pieces came in 1941 red? Just the rogue?

This is the most beautiful red. I barely use this bag and thought about selling it, but i just can't let the color go.

When I first heard the color name I was thinking deep ruby red like the gem or Dorothy's slippers in The Wizard of Oz. Not dull Ruby red as in the grapefruit.

It's possible that the color is different than shown in the pics Coach sent over. Saw this on Saks. It's called Apple Red. Could they end up being the same? We know Coach photos aren't always accurate & I've seen things on other sites that don't use the legit Coach color names. Just sharing a thought...
