i only like the small pochette type bag and the wristlet on the white leather, not the signature canvas. anything bigger than that is too much. i think it was a pretty bold and creative design though. i like the guts it took to do it, but the bees and the fish they did last summer are cuter.

I'm bumping up an old thread to see how people feel about the poppy line now that they've been able to see its items in person and it's had time to grow on them. Any converts?

Yeah, I didn't like them at first when I saw them in the catalog, but now that I've seen them in person I'm becoming fond of the poppy demi and might even try to pick one up on eBay -- great for summer!

I guess I'm not really a convert since I loved it when I first saw it on the Coach site and still do. Poppies are one of my favourite flowers and red is my favourite colour so it's like the line was meant for me ;) .

Anyway, I have the signature wristlet from this line (see link below), and I use it as my everyday wallet. I've had so many compliments on it that I've lost count - pretty much everytime I use it! Plus, it makes me happy everytime I look at it since it's so bright and pretty.

I do agree with someone much earlier in the thread, though, that the poppy with the signature print is a bit too busy. I like it in the wristlet because it's small enough to not be too overpowering but in anything larger I'd want the plain white leather. I LOVE the white gallery tote!

Do you know where I can buy a white leather poppy pochette? I want to get one for my sister who loves it. I know they are no longer at the Coach stores? Are they at the outlet? Elsewhere? Thank you! :flowers:

I think there are a number on Ebay. It's fairly easy to determine authenticity for this line as the imitators never get the detailing on the poppy right. There are no outlets near me so I wouldn't know. Good luck!
