Thank you! I looked at the smaller camera bag and it is cute. It just fits less. I may look at the smaller flap bag as well that has multiple straps.

I have the camera bag in navy. I really like the hidden outside pocket for my phone. I am 5’3 and it fits crossbody. It is a great run around bag. The only con is it flips when picking it up. Overall I really like it. I also notice when I wear it I get a lot of compliments. I think because it is not common.
That’s another reason I loved it. It also really seems to fit just as much if not more than the tradition style. Navy sounds beautiful!

How is the leather holding up on your 1955 horsebit? Is it prone to scratches? Do you noticed lots of creases on your strap?

I quickly noticed creases on the lowest part of the bag, which appeared the very first time I used it. It seems to have stopped evolving now it has been broken into and the leather is slightly more supple.
(I got the bag second hand, but honestly it must never have been used by the seller)
There is no crease on the strap.
I'm afraid it scratches rather easily too (it seems prone to deep scratches, the ones that don’t forgive)
My empreinte pochette Métis had a more satisfying leather, or is it Hermès that gave me too high expectancies ?

I have the old style horse bit but I believe it is the same dimensions as the 1955. For reference...I'm 5'10, 140 lbs. A little short but I don't like the bag slapping on my hip. I am short waisted so that may make a difference.
Oh you mean creases on the front of the lower part. Wow you are lucky not to have creases on the strap at all. I’ve seen brand new display ones in store that has creases. I got mine preloved to at an extremely good price in As New condition and still have a period to return. Mine has slight creasing on 3 areas of the strap and I find the bag is a bit short to wear crossbody, as I’m UK12/14. Honestly you don’t look UK16 at all. There’s no way I can wear this bag with thick coat in winter.
I’m still very sceptical if I should keep her because if I get any deep scratches or dent on the leather, it will not come undone as it’s such a heavily finished structured leather bag.
Its not Hermes, I agree the LV Empriente leather fells a lot better! I sold mine because I’m sick of the design hahaha….
Gucci doesn’t use the highest quality and it’s really heavily finished.

If you got it for a good price I suggest you keep it, it is sooooo gorgeous...
But clearly it’s not worth the boutique price.
If it can help you, do a heads or tails and you will know if you agree with the result.

I got it at a very good price. My concern is if the creases will get worse in future on the strap or not?
Does the lining tend to bobble?
This bag is definitely not worth the retail, I wouldn’t pay either.
Mine is exactly same as yours ,black Horsebit.
I really love this bag. I’m short waisted as well. That’s kind of why I like the camera bag. It has a thinner strap. This bag is truly beautiful. Is that red or a deep pink?

It's lovely, but @skyqueen's bag is the Lady Web, a completely different era bag. I have a red suede one in Med. It was made a shoulder bag and was made with two separate shoulder straps.
Small lady Web (measurements from Vestiaire). It has a more conical 'tongue' that goes under the h-b, and is more pear shape with the widest point closer to the base.
The new curved-bottom Horsebit 1955 is a similar shape but different dimensions the width is widest at the top and the curve at the base is much more pronounced.
