Are you referring to the mini drag or bigger size? If you're referring to the MINI version of the drag, I absolutely love love love love it. The handles are nice and roomy enough to wear it anywhere from my wrist to wherever I want on my arm (at least for me), very comfortable on crook of elbow. And the crossbody is aweome. You can remove the shoulder strap if you want to. feels like a baby Birkin in some ways.

Yes, I was referring to the new mini one.

That’s very good to hear that you love the bag. I’m still waiting for it. It has been a really long wait for me. :( Not sure if I am still in the waitlist but I can only hope for the best. There was a black drag 22 in another store previously but it has been sold before I manage to see the bag.

Is it troublesome to open and retrieve your stuff while you carry it without the strap? Do you mind letting me know how long the strap?

Basically I wrote you a Bible lengthy explanation but let's see if I can recap lol. So if I measured hardware to hardware the strap is approximately 41 inches if I did that correctly. If I tuck the flap into the bag itself and wear it open when I use my fourbi ( Hermès official bag insert) every thing is easily accessible with one hand operation. I wrote a few other things I wanted to mention as pros but I think pics are self explanatory. I measured the opening of the handles for you incase you want to wear it without the long strap. I did previously mentioned in the text I lost, that the only reasons the pictures look a bit awkward was because I am holding the camera in my handicapped hand while holding the bag in my other hand and trying to do one hand operations that I normally would do with two hands lol. So you won't have those issues. My elbow doesn't sit on the top flap either when I wear it that way but since I was at a weird angle and trying to take a pic with the other hand it looks and felt awkward for picture taking purposes but again you shouldn't have that issue.hope that helps:)

Also I had mentioned in my first lost text that I use the convenience of the outer pocket for my cell and keys, which are items I normally reach for moreso than other items, so I don't have to go into the bag quite as often.

Don't be discouraged about the wait babe, our Store manager told us that they were harder to get than a Birkin, B25, and even harder to get than a mini kelly and More limited than even these bags mentioned. But on the positive side, if the bag was directly offered to you, then you would get first pick once it arrives at your local H and that it would only be offered to someone else if you turned it down. So you don't have to worry about it getting sold to someone else like you previously mentioned before you had a chance to look at the black one.

So far in my area, our H was the only one that got one and one SA stated, "this was first mini drag in the last three years he had seem come through out store" , which confused us because another SA said they had never gotten one in our store, before mine, ever. So I don't know anything about that.

But what I do know is that allll the SAs working that day came running to take in her beauty and snap pictures and I go in one or twice a month minimum to see what new items catch my eye and I have SAs asking me if I don't mind bringing her in to show their clients. That leads me to believe that there are more coming in at some point, even if they trickle them in, they are at least being made. You'll get yours in,in no time and it will have been worth all he wait

We were asked if we would be interested in this bag over 2 years ago (possibly longer)I think it was. While talks about possible productions before it ever made it into our local H and before actual full blow production of it. It was hard to imagine without pics...then about 1.5-2 years we saw pictures and i still had questions. You know the talks they have with you about possibilities of new styles coming in and they gather info on Interest way before the runway launch, to then take to store manager, to then take to podium? Some times the wait time for those items is like 1-2 years before final production and then the time it takes to make it to your store. But I think the wait time and amounts made, are severely being impacted, in my opinion, by covid. As if limited production and wait time for these items wasn't already long enough, then comes the impact of covid.

Thank you so much for sharing all these details with me! Your review is the only one that has so much details as compared to what I can find on xiaohongshu (little red book), Instagram and YouTube for the past 2 yrs. I have been going to all the Hermes stores since 2020 and only managed to get into the waitlist for the bag in early 2021. I’m very happy to know that the flap doesn’t make it harder to open and close the bag to access the items.

By the way, for your second picture, do you find the leather for the middle section of the flap creasing?

I hope the bag I waitlisted will come before end of this yr. It has been a really long wait and is indeed a true test of patience in Hermes. :(

You are most welcome :hugs:

"By the way, for your second picture, do you find the leather for the middle section of the flap creasing?" Do you mean the "middle section" above the lock? If so, No......actually there hasn't been any creases forming any where on the bag as of yet knock on wood lol...but that's the natural occurance and beauty of leather, the creases, so it's only a matter of time I guess.:graucho::heart:

in the second picture below, (if you zoom in close) you kinda of see a
" little faint white line on the leather" above the lock near the stitching, but that is only a shadow the flash caught from the clear acrylic tray. So that faint whitish line and, of course, the more noticeable black one in pic are both NOT actually on the bag itself but rather both are a combo of flash and shadows...I hope that made sense.

Saw this pretty in Toronto store this week! The pic doesn't justify the beauty of the bag in person. Leather and touch is different. Very unique and impeccable craftsmanship. Hope this dream bag comes to those who are waiting soon.

This bag is epic. You are absolutely correct, the leather is exquisite and pictures do not do it justice. I reach for it, wayyyy more than I ever expected to.:hugs:

I really like this bag but I wish it was bigger the proportions of it just seem too 'boxy' to my eyes.
And I hate the padlock its a bit pointless and I agree with an earlier poster about the contrast stitching being a bit overwhelming on a smallish bag.
The original Drag was definitely chicer
But in a few years time when they start appearing pre-loved I would definitely consider getting one.
I especially like the back pocket, so useful for travel cards (I'm a commuter) and phone.
(I so wish the Jypsiere had a back pocket-then I'd use mine a lot more.)
the pictures do look like an exaggerated contrast stitching but IRL, to me it's a bit more subtle...IMHO :hugs:
