Does anyone know what kind of leather is this beautiful bag made of? I just bought the diorama which is made from the same leather as this one. I forgot to ask the SA about the leather. As soon as i saw this, i know i need to get it immediately. I saw on Dior website, it is described “silver-tone grained leather”. Soo I wonder what is that grained leather ..The small Lady Dior comes in silver, too:

Yes, this is grained calfskin. It's not the same as the newer supple grained calfskin with the rounded grain. This silver version is more rigid/structured than the new supple grained calfskin.

How is it holding up? Have you used it often?
I will be getting either a medium LD or MLD, in black lambskin by the end of March. I am leaning towards an MLD because I want to be able to dress it up or down. There’s no Dior in my country and the nearest Dior store is a two-hour plane ride away. Your feedback will greatly help my decision in getting my first Lady Dior.

I’m hoping one of lady bag oweners could help me out with sharing your experience. I’m thinking of getting this bag, but I have my doubts... Usually I wear all my bags crossbody and I’m curious how convenient lady bag is for crossbody wear? It looks like these top handles will be “flopping” back and forth all the time as you walk...? Did anyone have this issue? How convenient is this bag for casual wear?

The handles shouldn't do that, since the strap clasps are meant to be clipped in front of the handles, not behind. Clipping them in front of the handles keeps the handles upright.

I don’t use this bag as often as I like to, only for special occasions. Since this is a small size, it doesn’t hold much of stuffs. When I carry this, I’m only able to have my cardholder wallet, one lip product, my keys, and my phone. I don’t want to stuff and stretch the bag so much, so I only put in really necessities.

I walk pretty fast and I'm just trying to understand how comfortable will it be wearing the lady bag. I understand that in static position the handles would stand upright, but will fast movement make any difference?
Sorry if it sounds like a weird question, I just never had a cross-body bag with top handles.
The handles cannot fall off from the upright position if you hook the strap in front of them (see photo below) and this is irregardless of how fast you walk. Hope this makes sense.
