New Chanel Purchase Limit Policy

Did anyone purchase their second classic (whatever Chanel considers in the policy) for 22a and was told by their SA that they’re maxed out for the rest of the year? I’ve read people being told but curious if the new rule is being enforced and told for new purchases
The 2 classic flaps per year rule is retroactive, but I feel that exceptions would be made based on what type of relationship you have with the boutique (your SA and/or store manager). I've known both at the closest boutique to me for quite some time. Although I have reached my 2/year limit, I was told to reach out if something I really wanted comes in a future collection. I could have purchased something from 22A but passed because I wasn't thrilled with the color. Not surprising that exceptions can be made as there hasn't been a policy yet that is consistently enforced.

Oh here we go with conflicting information among stand alone Chanel boutiques. The Sa on the west coast can ship out slgs. The Sa on the east coast can't. Right now I'm down to at least three items on my wishlist with Chanel and after this Chanel can kiss my.....Screenshot_20220627-171655_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20220627-171430_Telegram.jpg

Not shoes. Those don't count. Only fine or high jewelry, RTW & watches.

Start buying rtw shoes and Fine Jewellery

I already buy shoes and am considering some fine jewelry (coco crush ring) only bc I like the ring, not bc I want to chase a current status. I'm glad that higher end, frequent customers do get some exception, as that's something I would like if I loyally spent my money with a brand. It would just be nice if they made that fact more transparent--limits apply unless you're at this tier as we reward for loyalty. The non-transparency and inconsistency causes people to be upset.

Apologies if asked and answered, but does the one bag per month rule refer to the calendar month (ie if I purchase a bag June 30th can I purchase another on July 1st) OR is it within a 30 day window of your prior purchase?

What has been everyone's experience as far as boutiques adhering to the purchase limit recently? Has anyone come across a boutique in or near NY that is not too strict?
What I was doing is purchasing towards the end of the month maybe one week before the month is up. And purchase the second item the next month. Right now with higher prices a lot of items that used to fly off the shelves can be found with the help of a good Sa.

There was one that said you could arrange with someone in your traveling party to purchase an additional bag for you (like pay your friend back). This was the one that is not Madison and not soho (forgot the street) but their selection was the most limited.
