Ah OK. I always think of unwashed skinny-skinnies with heels (women) white(ish) 'wife-beaters' and pork pie hats (men) with the Libertines (& Baby Shambles - my friend was their drummer).

I need to look at old pics of that Hoxton Square/Whitechapel era (I lived in Clerkenwell at that time). I remember everything shrunken including jackets - a '00s take on the German film Chistiane F. Maybe I misremember though.

If you think where Burbery's HQ used to be - Chatham Pl E9 (not Horseferry Rd SW1) that would make sense.

I'm seeing more early Vivienne Westwood (early-80s Mud era).

Some of the shoes on the runway are bonkers. Even more bonkers than we're used to.

I already have the HUGE ushanka/trapper-hats (mine in dyed-green beaver). I like to start the year ahead - a year ahead!
Truly that was the shrunken everything era. Everything had to fit so tightly to the skinny body I don’t have anymore
We’re very much in the opposite trend now across the board with designers- it seems to be oversized everything - largely a welcome idea- it does always remind me of old Marni.
I do miss the hat revivial of Brit pop so it’d be nice to see them back again. I’ve never been able to wear a trapper hat without eating my extensions so that’s a skip for me

Also love that giant tartan with the chartreuse! Great to see some new styles of coat.
