I am looking at purchasing my first LV Neverfull GM. I would love to get some advice on the wear of DE and Mono as I’m unsure of which to get. I have heard the DE straps get cracking if you like to wear it cinched a lot, which I think I will.
I like the idea of the Mono handles going all slouchy, and like the look, but worried about the handles getting darker patina than the rest of the bag as I live in Australia and will use in summer and will likely at times expose the handles to sweat or sunscreen. I don’t like the look of the dark patina on the handles only.
I don’t want to baby the bag, but happy to give it some TLC if it means the bag will remain clean and useable for many years. Any thoughts and advice is appreciated.
