I arrived at FSH around 10:45am (I tried to get there for 10:30am but had trouble finding a cab). The selection was amazing so many goodies on the self and in the back. But it was VERY busy and most of the birkins were gone by 11:15am. The SAs were very friendly and they had show birkins that people could try on for size.
Mooks Definitely check out Didier Ludot. The shopping in Galerie de Montpensier is pretty good theres a Marc Jacobs, a great sunglass store, and cute other boutiques. And its close to one of the CL boutiques!

I did not take the metro, so I'm not sure if there is one close to FSH. But cabs are very easy to find at Nord. I was staying with a friend of mine in the first and had trouble finding a cab on that little island.
Yup I am back! Yes i did come back with a few pieces and i will do a post on the main thread when I have pictures later.
FSH was heaving when I got there at 10.35 on Saturday and there was only one Birkin left in 25cm in toile and what looked like aqua with palladium h/w. It was tiny and not for me.
I agree that there were so many Kellys in all colours and leathers - the selection was amazing and most were out on display.
In HAC there were 3 in 32cm- all in box leather - black with gold hw; black with palladium and chocolate with palladium.
The sales assistants were lovely and really really helpful. I had a good nosy round but couldn't get near the scarves as the counter was packed! There were so many lovely things it was so hard to choose.
Then i got a cab straight over to George V and asked about Birkins. Was distraught to find that they apparently had sold 3 that morning - 2 in 35 and one 40. I was so upset I didn't even ask what they were as I was so sorry i missed them, but now i really want to know!
The service in George V was a little stuffy and althought there was only one other lady in the shop, I really didn't feel so welcome. They seemed to thaw a little when they realised that i was serious about making purchases.

WOW all sounds great!! I'm new on the H forum mainly because I thought the bag was unattainable,, but after doing the research let me get this straight...
I've wanted a birkin togo leather 35 since FOREVER,, but dont want to wait more than a month for one,, and dont want to buy from reseller...
AND you ladies are saying that if I hopped on a plane to paris and got a taxi to FSH or GV on any given day before 10:35 chances are I'll walk out with a birkin of my dreams!!!?? is this true,, it seems too good to be true..whats the catch?

No catch, you should be quite successful esp on a weekday. Try in the mornings too! Nearest Metro for 24 FSH is

No, not chances are you'll get one. You may get one but there's still a distinct possibility you may not. You haven't mentioned colour so if you aren't too fussy about colours you are of course increasing your chances.
It's still very hit and miss.
Why do you not want to wait more than a month?
WOw thanks for the info i'm stll in shock.... I'm not picky about color I like blue jean, navy, black,brown, gold , any beige, white, any calm color really since its my first, in a 35 togo or something similar leather. I dont want to wait more than a month because I'm in a country with no H store so I cant really keep going back and forth and trying, I also haven't had any luck getting on any list in the US, and I'm inpatient.. So I think I'll try my luck in the winter this year in paris..
I think that if you will stay more than one day and you will try more than once a day and both in FSH and GeorgeV, you will have a lot of chance to gìwalk away with your birkin!!

hi costa: may i know when u said u always offered a birkin whenever u r in paris, do u always use hermes bag when u came to the shop? if not, may i ask you what bag did u use everytime u went to the H shop? thx, the reason i am asking is because i want a birkin badly and i am coming to paris this june =)
