DH was at FSH yesterday (Sat) twice (noon & 5pm). First visit, none of the SA were available or wanted to help him at all. Then second visit, he managed to ask SA to check the computer. No B & K as usual. But no Lindy nor Picotin neither!!! No luck at George V as well.....BUT earlier today, Sunday afternoon DH dropped by CDG T2E boutique just for a quick look before leaving France --- he noticed a blue Lindy & a red Picotin right away!!! Now, the blue one is with him on the plane now =)

You are so lucky!!!! I stopped by too, but nothing WAS there...

How do you balance sightseeing and H shopping? I will be in Paris for 2 days in June this year with DH and the kids, who have no interest in H whatsoever. It seems that multiple visits to FSH is needed to score a birkin (and even then only if you are very lucky) which is what I would LOVE to get in Paris.....

How do you balance it? Getting the family to go H store hopping is not their idea of fun :(

Well the louvre & tuileries are close to FSH. You could send them there while you shop!!:giggles:

BTW I called FSH enquiring about some non bag items. They were very open about stocks but said that I have to go there personally to purchase. They won't ship out :(

Is this your experience too?

it is really based on my luck i think.. *although so far i still have to work HARDDD on my luck and charm... 2 times to Paris and not yet offered a B or K*
my friend was there in Paris last Saturday... and he managed to get me one Kelly 35...
it wasnt an easy job though he said...

i resorted to Japan last desember as well... although it was not as easy as i remembered two years ago... *could be due to is closing to christmas and everybody is purchasing a christmas gift* i did manage to bring home 1 back...

I went to Paris for the weekend, actually just to visit FSH:yes: and try to get a birkin 30 in some nice color and lather...

I have got my black birkin there in the past and my green Kelly too, and I know in week days they get birkins during the day.

I entered she shop at 10:40 (it opens at 10:30) and asked for birkin 30. The had only one and SA told me it was the onlyone of the day because they don't get purses on saturdays:crybaby:

It was a 30 etoupe in clemence witrh contrast white stich. Not my purse:crybaby:

They had a some 35s and some hac, but non 30s..

In 30 minutes ALL the birkins were gone!

So ladys, if you want to have some chance to score the bag of your dreams, don't go on saturadays because the choice is very limited.

Anyway, I went to George V and the SA told me they had one in toile (OMG!!! my dream bag!!)... when she arrived the orange box looked too big to me...I was crossing my fingers..but it was a 35 in brown box and dark green toile...again, not my purse.

They had many kellys in both places, mostly in 32. I liked the new pale rose color in swift, but I have just got a brown sellier and wanted a birkin so badly..

The etoupe was a beautiful bag, too bad it wasn't was I wanted:s

I would like to get a white or the new white/beige color but they told me you can't SO it...:confused1:
Thank you for sharing and providing such great advice. Next time I'm in Paris I know what to expect on Saturdays.
